These are all really interesting guesses from the last few days (I’ve been overwhelmed with work or I’d have posted them sooner), but any guesses with just Sam and Dean won’t hit the mark. I’m going to add them to the list of guesses later on and if anyone is ever interested in playing around with the ideas let me know. I don’t mind seeing people play around in the BA worlds. Who knows, in the future I might drabble one or two myself.

I just wanted to throw in a reminder that every AU to Brothers Apart is a collaboration, meaning I, your CoAdmin, am involved in writing it.
Here’s a hint: I do not write Sam or Dean. That’s all up to nightmares06. You don’t need to guess which character I write, but only the premise of the AU, just like “Kid finds Sam” or “Sam meets other borrowers”. These guesses have a general idea that involves a character or characters that are not Sam and Dean Winchester.

For the guessing game, all that’s needed is the premise of the story. For instance, people still don’t know who’s involved in the ‘kid catches Sam’ AU. I can’t give everything away, that would ruin the point of guessing.
Aww, that would be adorable! Maybe in a future AU, but for now that’s not what will happen. That would just be so cute though, so we’ll have to hold on to that idea.
Good guess! These two may appear as side characters in the AU, but they are not the main character that will be appearing.
There will be no growth with the curse in the mystery AU. The curse itself remains the same.
The main difference would be that the brothers had even less time to build up that core of trust that they relied heavily on at the beginning of the series. Sam might not come around to Dean as fast if he had less time to bond with his older brother.
It’s not too forward! This AU will involve at least one of the brother being under the curse! Also, we finally thought of a hint!
All AU’s of BA that have become series are collaborative works, so you won’t see only my characters appearing in them. Characters that belong to @neonthewrite will be featured just as prominently!
Good guess, but it’s not a storyline I’d be likely to do with Sam all on his own. Poor guy would have a rough time.
