July 17th excerpt:

Dean, it seemed, was on the same track. “No,” he growled, the power of that growl reverberating through his throat and straight through Walt and Sam. “I don’t like it, it’s not happening.”

Sam sighed loud enough to be heard throughout the room, no small feat for someone under the size of a hand. “Dean. Table, now.”

The reluctance from Dean was almost tangible in the air, a thick feeling that permeated the room. Yet he shifted, resting the arm that was attached to the shoulder Sam and Walt were sitting on so it lay on the table.

Sam wasted no time scaling down to the table. “Dean, this isn’t your choice. We’ve been over this, remember? I’m the one who gets to decide if the risk is worth it, and I’m willing to hear them out.”

The first word is not brothers, but that’s a great AU title name!

We reserve the “Brothers ——” style names for when we have a new AU, with the exception of occasional first stories of the AU, like Brothers Apart and Brothers Saved.

I’m adding Brothers Prepared to my list of Brothers names. Might just have a storyline named after it one day.

Photobucket issue– Help needed!

So, if anyone’s used photobucket recently, they’ve likely heard of what that site has done to off-site hosting. 

For those that don’t, many of my stories on Archive of Our Own go through photobucket for the images that appear in the chapters. I’ve switched it up in recent stories to a different way of posting that was easier, but all my old photos are through photobucket– and are now being held hostage.

If you see–

– this is what photobucket does to any images from their site hosted elsewhere, unless you upgrade to their Plus 500 plan. 

I’m not against upgrading my accounts from time to time for usability, like I do on deviantart, but the cost of this one is exorbitant. Completely unreasonable for what I use the account for.

They don’t even tell you the price until you go almost all the way through the order.

Because of this, I’ll be going through my archive account and updating the pictures today. 

If you see any of the photobucket p500 pictures, please message me the story and chapter so I can go fix them! With the amount of stories I have posted, it’s very likely I’ll miss some and I want to erase photobucket from my life!
