@nightmares06

That’s probably the first time I’ve heard that reaction to any of our stories XD Better watch out with them, they might be on their way to discovering what vore is (one of the parts of g/t I initially had a phobia of and now don’t mind at all), and sending off all the characters they write to a quick end.

I’m glad to hear you like our story enough to share! Apparently it wasn’t violent enough for them XD Eating all the sprites. Bowman would be offended.

@neonthewrite

To say the least. Bowman would have to avoid these nieces of yours on principal, because they sound like a lot of trouble for the poor sprites. Not for eating!

May 25th excerpt:

Dean rolled his eyes, and this time didn’t bother with the stand-up menu. Instead, he reached over and lightly nudged Jacob to his feet, propping his finger underneath a small arm and pushing him up. He had to restrain himself the second he felt exactly how light Jacob was against his finger. If he moved too fast, he’d pull the kid right off the table again, just like the time Dean had gone for the bag he was wearing and ended up taking Jacob along for the ride.

Watching those small legs kicking in the air, dangling helplessly over what was to him a huge distance… it was the first time in years Dean had felt his overprotective side rise up in him.

“Not happenin,’ ” he scolded gently as he maneuvered Jacob closer to the plate. “You’re eating some of this food one way or the other. Don’t make me try and make the world’s smallest cheeseburger. We both know that won’t end well.”

Jacob tried to resist, but he might as well be pushing on a wall. He tried to shove Dean’s hand away, but the huge fingers were too strong for him. Digging his heels in was just as useless, and soon enough he found himself marched over to the plate like an ornery kid. He stumbled a few times, but with Dean guiding him along he was standing still again in no time.

Oh lord. Bowman gets even more ornery when he’s had a drink, if you can believe it. He’d try to flutter off only for his wings to be too sluggish and not cooperate … there would need to be someone tol nearby to catch him before he hits the ground. Maybe the teen Deans can find their entertainment sneaking him more if someone else cut him off.

May 24th excerpt:

More light broke in at the bottom as the mug tilted slowly upwards. Jacob paused, then crouched low to peek cautiously out from under the mug. He blinked a few times to readjust to the light, and made sure no one else was around. He sighed in quiet relief when he only saw Dean peering in at him.

A large green eye blinked back at Jacob, then vanished as the human sat back up from his hunched over position. The slit of light around Jacob’s knees widened, then the cup lifted up into the air as Dean let him out.

Sorry about that!

The posts that list the horror story as the third part were posted before the short story After the Hunt was written on a whim, changing the numbering of the stories. So #jiw is officially the fourth story of Brothers Found, so long as we don’t add in any other short stories.

The numbering of any stories is subject to change up and until the stories are posted! Sorry for the confusion!

Aside from opening the bottom slot, Dean wouldn’t need to do much with all those Sams. They are a collective genius when it comes to climbing, and they’ll be bouncing around the inside of the machine in no time, knocking down the M&Ms first, then calling out for orders from their taller counterparts. Since they’re already there, might as well.

Dean would have to stay sitting there, fetching the food as Sam knocks it out of the rack, cackling all the way at the free food.

(Not that the lounge doesn’t already have free food, but it’s the principal!)

The sad thing is it was the default one the blog came with… all we’ve changed is adding links and things where “Archive” and “Asks” usually go, lol.

I’ve usually avoided changing too much since I’m terrible with, like, any code, but I saw a theme I like better than that one, and there’s a long weekend coming up at the end of this week (which is why we’ve got time to run the ask the authors weekend :3), so I should be able to find some time to mess around with things.

And then time for @neonthebright to fix anything I break, as the actual coder of the group.

Plus the links will actually look pretty with the one I saw!

May 23rd excerpt:

Jacob stumbled out of Dean’s grasp, halting where he stood as he took in the scene. To one side, a fork and knife more than twice his body length stretched out on a folded napkin. Jacob could see countless nicks and scratches in the metal from years of use. On the other, the laminated menu with occasional pictures of what the restaurant had to offer filled up plenty of space. The table expanded beyond that, shiny finish on polished wood adding to the atmosphere.

Above, a deer head mounted to the wall watched the rest of the room with glassy eyes from a better vantage point than Jacob had. He could hear other humans chatting, dishes clinking together, the chiming of the bell as yet more customers wandered in.

Bowman Lost Excerpt

neonthewrite:

Bowman shouted more curses at the huge wingless man, and slammed his hands against all sides of his cage. He rustled his wings and tried to tackle the walls, but nothing he did had any effect. The giant stuck to its word, too, gathering its things and ignoring Bowman’s cries for release. He could only follow its blurry shape with his gaze and not once did the giant answer, though it glanced his way several times.

Angry tears stung his eyes again, and Bowman brushed them away on his sleeve. He didn’t have the time to feel sorry for himself. He faced the terrifying thought of leaving his home trapped by something big enough to fit him in its mouth. He was so small.

@birvan

Ah, thanks! Lots of work went into it!

I’ve never been able to figure out why the search bar has such issues, since it’s set to be there, and shows up in the regular browser and usually in the app when I’m using it to queue posts, but is completely absent on the mobile browser.

My solution if I need to search for things (on any blog) is to do it manually in the search bar.

After /search/ all you have to do is put the words you want searched, and a + between them, and it works the same. It’s a workaround for tumblr being a pain.

Too bad not everyone appreciates the work we put to this blog. Thank you for being here!
