They would be cautious and capture him to find out who/what he is, and if he has anything to do with the case they’re on. He’ll probably spend some time under a vase (at Dean’s insistence), while also getting to eat the pizza Sam offers him.

If Dean leaves the room, Sam will take that moment to give Jacob some air, letting him out of the vase. He’s four inches tall, no wings, and they have his climbing supplies, what’s the worst that could happen?

Being small around one giant Winchester can be nervewracking enough, but both of them? They’re such strong personalities compared to Jacob’s very relaxed nature. He’d be so cautious with everything, and also probably surprised they could catch him so fast. Those guys are speedy!

With Dean out of the room, his intensity is gone, but there’s still a curious Sam to deal with. I can see Jacob trying to sidle away when he thinks Sam’s not paying attention only to be dragged back, maybe poked for his trouble.

Aaa, we did!

I’ve actually had the ideas bouncing around for a bit, and scribbled out half an idea one day at work, but then got so caught up with Brothers Saved I didn’t get back to it until recently, but once I slowed it to neon and borrowed, it kind of just… bloomed.

And it keeps growing.

Believe it or not, out of the three writers for this blog, not one of us had ever played or touched Overwatch. I’ve seen art from it drift by my dashboard a time or two, but I know next to nothing about it. If you ever have ideas for the Legend of Zelda, Mario, even Skyrim or Monster hunter, I’m your girl, but otherwise I am a blank slate.

My money’s on Sam getting the hang of the game first.

You can actually find the answer to questions like this in the FAQ! (Link sadly incompatible with the mobile app but not the mobile browser)

Also, for any changes to the scheduled times, each chapter will have the next update time listed in the notes for that chapter on all three sites.

The posting dates were changed before The Study of the Four began posting due to personal issues, Sunday and Wednesday were the winners in a poll decided by the readers.

Let us know if we need to add anything to the FAQ at any time!

They’ve innovated a few different types of weapons for him, including his hook, but this hasn’t occurred to them. Normally they stick to stuff that’s more useful against the monsters they hunt– Silver, iron, salt and such. This kind of thing would be more useful against rodents and people, and Sam’s grown used to his knife for defense.

This is a fun thought! I think it’s pretty much universally accepted by us the writers that once one leaves the Lounge, they carry on in their usual AU like they never left, not remembering their time mingling with the other AUs.

That being said, Sherlock would certainly want to do as much science as he can before he leaves the Lounge, as long as he’s allowed the proper equipment. Testing blood samples, comparing and contrasting reactions. I can see him snagging a hair from giant!Jacob to examine closely at such a large scale. Anyone who messes with his science will be scolded! …unless they’re a smol kiddo, in which case he will have absolutely no evens.

If he could think of a way, Sherlock would most definitely try to sneak into other AUs, if only to see how the main characters of that world interact with it and deal with their cases and problems. Whether or not he’d succeed is a different story.

Lol, if anyone tried tapping, they’d have a very miffed little Dean to answer to! Someone would have to chase away onlookers to scatter them and give the smols privacy.

I was thinking of something like little tables at the center of each table, then something similar on the raised portion of the bar, giving the smols their own separate yet still integrated places to stay. The trickster surely won’t have a problem serving them drinks! (May they never figure out who he is)

I think random characters from the AUs (the field borrowers, the Watches, Moira and others) would drift in and out of the room, while the main characters of the stories would be there all the time unless they have their story going. I’m sure Walt would enjoy a drinking game or two!

I’ve actually never

read the poem, or

gone to see Cats (my high school picked Jekyll and Hyde instead, I had voted for Cats myself), so I had to look this one up.

Really, Dean’s main issue is going to be the constant sneezing. How’s he supposed to think straight to figure things out when his head’s filled with cotton balls, his nose won’t stop running, and his eyes itch like nuts? He’ll be convinced it’s all a ploy to get the best of him.

The bros might be better to handle the supernatural aspect of things with clear heads, since Sherlock might be none too pleased to hear about the strange feats of the cat, determined to find a reasonable explanation for it all.

Well, the only reason there hasn’t been more up until now is because of personal issues after the convention in January, keeping me from writing, and then when I did start writing again, I finished off the Brothers Apart story I was working on instead of starting a new project.

The Brothers Saved 2 post was just the first of a few quick shorts I wrote up for the AU this week, and more will follow very shortly.
