Aww, what a cute pairing!

Pre-curse Sam would be awed by how tiny the person he found is, and generally being a kid, nudging and picking him up and asking a constant stream of questions, while post-curse Sam is debating with himself and wondering if he should tell his younger self what’s going to happen to him in the future.

I definitely plan on it! I’ve just been flopped the last few days from work, and haven’t had the drive to do much at all… (aside from watch cutthroat kitchen), plus I have a bit of fun planned for the anniversary next week which took some time to setup.

If I ever haven’t gotten around to putting sneak peeks on the main page for them, I use a tag to track them all. If you go to that you can see what’s posted so far (and exactly what I haven’t posted yet XD)

#BA AU SP

I love fan stories! The more, the merrier– there’s only so much I can write, and so many possibilities out there!

If you write a fan story, either mark it with @brothersapart in the notes or tag #nightmares06. I won’t see #brothers apart because there’s so much other stuff that shows up under that tag, it gets buried. Also, you can submit it to the blog as well, and if you want to remain anonymous, just leave a note for me in the submission. Or send me a message with a link to @nightmares06, I keep my IM feature open to all.

He has not had the chance! It would be fun, for sure. If you wave a feather the right way, it can catch a ton of air, and the other way it’ll cut right through the air (I used to collect very large hawk feathers).

The image of him writing with an old fashioned inkwell makes me imagine he’s back in London with the Sherlock Holmes in Arthur Conan Doyle’s books XD Sherlock hype, I guess. In reality, it would be a big mess. Ink can stain everything.

Unfortunately, I won’t have the time to do this. But the stories will always remain up! I don’t intend on ever taking any of them down, so you’re free to go back and read them anytime. I tend to spend my limited free time coming up with new stories, editing current stories or obsessively reorganizing ALL MY STUFF because OMG OCD is the worst thing ever and it is so exhausting. (Ignore that, just felt like yelling it out for once because it makes me feel better)

Plus, some of the first encounters, like in Family Ties, tend to be several chapters long, so it would be a very confusing work.

The best thing to do if Sam gets a cold is to keep him warm and within reach, in case he takes a turn for the worse. Dean will keep him drinking plenty of liquids, and order some chicken noodle soup. Medicine they’ll only ever attempt if they’re desperate, since they aren’t sure how it’ll react with his system.

The hardest part with Dean is convincing him to relax and take it easy long enough to get better, and Sam is the master at talking Dean into things. Some puppy eyes, or pretending he’s sick as well if it comes down to it. There’s no way Dean can go on hunting if Sam’s sick, so clearly he has to get Sam some chicken noodle soup, and he can’t just leave it since it would all go to waste, so he’ll just take some soup for himself and then fall asleep on the bed watching Dr. Sexy, MD, and Sam will smile proudly at himself for working his magic yet again.
