(I loved those talks of tiny demons, probably one of my fave things!)

Tiny monsters are totally a thing, at least as far as I’m concerned. If any of the little guys like Sam die and hold a grudge, they’ll have the same ability to stick around and haunt. Vampires are great too – since in the Supernatural world, all they need is to drink the blood of a vampire, it isn’t even hard to become one! But then they need to deal with finding blood, and tinies like them are few and far between. They might have to risk a human or two, sneaking around while they’re asleep. The bite marks might be mistaken for mosquito bites in the morning.

The poor wendigos would have all the sad stories, lost and alone and forced to turn to cannibalism (or, eagerly turning to cannibalism, depending on their personality).

We might have a few plans for tiny monsters that we’ve bandied about a few times 😉

Of course!

It might not be as popular a place to live due to the amount of humans that are in and out on a daily basis, but that is a trade-off for the sheer amount of food they’d be able to find. The kicker is with that many people around, there is no way to risk getting food during the day. All gathering trips would have to wait until no one was around.

Motels are a little easier because it’s less people around, but they also lose out on the amount of food available. It completely depends on the people who stay in the rooms.

Homes are the safest, but care has to be taken since the theft is easier to notice when it’s the same people around day after day.

There may be relationships ahead in any of the series. Though I’m not an expert in any way on relationships in general since I’m ace, there are definitely plans in the works. Nothing sexual ever, of course. Neither Sam or Dean are celibate by any means, and I plan on staying as true to the series as possible, of course.

I think they’ve worked in at least some relationships in the last few seasons… though Dean is ruined for women right now and it upsets me to see him so torn.

Believe it or not, I am no expert in vocal cords and vocal pitch. I am mathematically trained, and I work in numbers. These are questions you might want to pose to an expert.

As for my story, I do prefer to keep science out of it. At its core, Brothers Apart and all subsequent AUs are based in the supernatural, with witches and demons and curses that shrink people down. I personally despise the ‘squeaky voice’ trope, so if you read a story by me you can assume all characters sound ‘normal.’ Whether this is me taking liberties is up to you, but until we actually have a person cursed to under four inches tall, none of us are the experts.

Actually, the size of ears plays less of a role in your ability to hear than the shape of those ears. Human ears are specifically shaped after millions of years of evolution to pick up the sound waves that are most important to us… mainly, the vibrations a human voice makes. Some people have better hearing than others, yes, but that is less dependent on their size.

So Sam might be able to hear a little better than Dean, just like it’ll be easier to deafen him by shouting, but it’s not a huge difference, and there are likely regular sized humans who might be able to hear just as good as Sam. There are a lot of people out there who can hear higher pitched tones while others can’t hear a thing.

That little idea was created around the time this blog began, so things have changed, but I think one part has remained the same.

This gives two options. Sam can choose a pocket, or a shoulder. If Sam was to go for the pocket, he can’t see what’s going on and he can’t help Dean out if they find trouble. I think the Sam we have in our stories isn’t about to let Dean be the only one who’s going to take risks. Small or not, he’s going to insist that he be the lookout. After all, he can tell when people are looking at him, right?! So why should he leave Dean to fall into a trap?

Sam will make sure to keep that brother of his out of trouble, no matter who’s around. He’s not about to sit this out in a pocket. 🙂

Original post.

If it hit Sam… Dean would find a tiny, tiny puppy in his pocket. Those little hazel eyes looking up at him, pleading for him to fix it and make it all better. He would be nothing but determination if that happened to Sam.

I wouldn’t mind a story like this myself, but I don’t write animal fics. If anyone is up to writing it, feel free! Send us a link so we can all check it out 😀

First post (x)

XD Make sure you don’t get burnt when you read the next chapter then! Dean the spitfire is just getting started. Jacob has no idea what he got into.

The Road Not Taken itself is a single story, but it is the first part of Brothers Lost, and that series already has five completed stories (two of them edited and ready for posting including trnt), a sixth in-progress story, and a multitude of ideas for more stories in the future. So you will be seeing plenty more from this particular cast of characters!
