catpixels: sorry, completely unrelated but quick question, at what age the nestlings’ wings uncurl and what’s the average wingspan, compared to their bodies? And at what age they start to achieve flight?
Neon: the nestlings wings unfurl at around 4 years of age I think, and at that point the wings aren’t even as wide as their body length, and very fluttery and sensitive. They start to grow more after that and they get stable enough to hop around at around 7 or 8

nightmares06: Knacks can’t change their size anymore than standard spellwork can
nightmares06: And changing the makeup of matter is something too strong for them
nightmares06: There’s a few stronger knacks out there than the usual psychic abilities, but nothing along those lines

Phoenix: When worldbuilding, do you have a file with all the info you’ve developed?
Neon: Pffft just one?

Neon: I have many folders for one story, sometimes
nightmares06: XD I just have drabbles and short stories for building up things, Neon is the expert worldbuilder
Neon: Depends on how I organized it most recently
Phoenix: Ooh! Question! So the bros ever climb on Jacob’s hoodie strings?
nightmares06: XD The bros have not yet climbed his hoodie strings
nightmares06: They have, however, insisted he get shirts with pockets

Neon: That way they can point where he should go
Phoenix: One big pocket is not enough. Especially since his hands go in it.

wolfie180g: chapters should only be as long as they need to be. my longest was 19k, and shortest chap was 4 k
wolfie180g: of course i get far too wordy
nightmares06: XD I’ve taken to shorter chapters because suspense is fun

TorchMLP: k, so if I did the math right, sam would be 183 feet tall, and if giant Jacob is 120 feet tall, he would only reach Sam’s elbow
