Phoenix: How are doors shaped in the Wellwood?
Neon: Doors in Wellwood are just kinda uneven archways
Neon: No corners, after all
Phoenix: Height, width? Do you have to fold up your wings to go in?
taters169: Do they have coverings for privacy?
Phoenix: Do people ever fly through them, and if so, do they get in trouble for it?
Phoenix: Curtains, yes, good question, do they have those?
taters169: Some kind of door flap lol
Phoenix: Leaves?
Phoenix: And what about windows? What do those look like? Do they look like pushed-out knots, perchance?
catpixels: but they definitely need to have some sort of system for when the storms and winter cold hits at the very least
Neon: Doors- the only door on a home that they bother sealing is the entrance(s). They usually just have a piece of bark fixed to it, but they can also stick leaves in there for extra insulation. They wax leaves for this purpose.
Windows- they are also unevenly shaped, and can indeed be in place of a knot in the wood. They keep the waxed leaves to shade or seal these if they need to (sometimes bowman does it to filter light so he can sleep in, the lazy butt)
Warmth- they Pray warmth into the living wood itself, and it helps them a lot. Winter time is cuddle time for wood sprites, and they seal up what they need to in order to keep warmth in

TorchMLP: So sprites don’t really have access to thread like other borrowers, so what do they use to make their clothes?
Neon: Depends on the sprites! Sticking to the Wellwood sprites, they actually have a cottonwood tree and it provides plenty of fiber for them to twist into threads.
TorchMLP: Oh cool! What do they use for dye?
Neon: Whatever they can find xD since green is a common available hue a lot of their clothes are some shade of green. They can use flowers and stuff like that for color too, though
Neon: Bowman’s scarf is yellow, for example. Most probably from dandelion dye
Phoenix: How do you write the collabs?

Neon: We do it in an RP style and then I go in and edit things together so it flows

TorchMLP: So, in supernatural, a huge part of the story is Sam having demon blood. In this au, does Sammy still have the blood?
nightmares06: No demon blood XD I was never a fan
nightmares06: He is a pure bean

nightmares06: He’ll be around!
nightmares06: I’m just working from Season 1 up so it takes him time to get his feathery butt down there
nightmares06: He’s tied to main storyline things
There’s no plans for him to meet Bowman and the earthbound sprites just yet, at least not in the original Brothers Apart series, but there’s always the possibility he’ll show up in another AU and see the sprites. I think it would be most likely to happen in Brothers Asunder, when Sam’s fate is more closely entwined with Bowman’s as his adopted little brother.
An Appreciation for the Sun was a really fun time! I’d definitely be willing to do something like that again, as a collab or on my own (I have some Cas prompts in my inbox that I’ve been mulling over).
The sprites would be so intrigued by his wings. I can see them fluttering around behind them after he’s shown off the shadow and getting confused. They’re not there? But they saw them a minute ago? How are you doing this. And his healing would definitely be impressive. It’d be like the Spirit Herself’s healing, so fast.
