The only reason I haven’t is it’s actually a lot of work to put together something like that, especially with the number of commissions/fanart/fanfiction we have, so we do use the tagging system to track that stuff. I’ll add the tags to the FAQ. We even had to shorten some of the tags for the recent contest because I have less and less time to work through things, but still love hosting it.

#daily update– all the story excerpts posted since the beginning.

#prompt– finished prompts (or unfinished prompts, multiple things get filed here).

#submission– wonderful submissions from you readers! ❤ (my favorite is still the one that revealed that smol Sam and smol Dean weigh less than three crayons).

Fanfics are pretty much all found under the contest entries or submissions, from what I can see. There’s no real tag for them separate. If we get non contest entries submitted like that in the future that aren’t submissions, I’ll file them under #fanfiction.

Let me know if there’s any I missed! This blog certainly grew past my original dreams ever predicted.

There are several select differences between them, their height the chief difference so far. More will be mentioned in the future, but for now know that none of the smols in my story that are like Walt Watch will ever come close to six inches in height. Four inches is tall for them, and four and a quarter would likely be close to their tallest.

“Borrowers” and “littles” are just names applied to them by humans over the years, and they don’t see the point in arguing against them. They’ve lost the memory of where they came from.

It is a psychic ability, so it would respond the same as it would to anyone else seeing him. He’d get a general sense of unease, the strength of it depending if he’ll be in any danger from the person seeing him, and know to duck instantly out of sight, hopefully leaving the birdwatcher to assume they’re seeing things. Range doesn’t matter for this ability, only the act of being seen.

They would be cautious and capture him to find out who/what he is, and if he has anything to do with the case they’re on. He’ll probably spend some time under a vase (at Dean’s insistence), while also getting to eat the pizza Sam offers him.

If Dean leaves the room, Sam will take that moment to give Jacob some air, letting him out of the vase. He’s four inches tall, no wings, and they have his climbing supplies, what’s the worst that could happen?

Being small around one giant Winchester can be nervewracking enough, but both of them? They’re such strong personalities compared to Jacob’s very relaxed nature. He’d be so cautious with everything, and also probably surprised they could catch him so fast. Those guys are speedy!

With Dean out of the room, his intensity is gone, but there’s still a curious Sam to deal with. I can see Jacob trying to sidle away when he thinks Sam’s not paying attention only to be dragged back, maybe poked for his trouble.

Aaa, we did!

I’ve actually had the ideas bouncing around for a bit, and scribbled out half an idea one day at work, but then got so caught up with Brothers Saved I didn’t get back to it until recently, but once I slowed it to neon and borrowed, it kind of just… bloomed.

And it keeps growing.

I knoooow I’m sorry! It’s been especially taxing because I just did that reblog spree, normally these are spread out much more for a lighter dose of the feels.

The Sad Oscar AU is very appropriately named, I’d say, because it gives me feels every time I sit down and plink out another installment. And then I show @nightmares06 and @borrowedtimeandspace and they scold me heartily for it.

I dunno if this is tipping my hand too much, but plot twists are most definitely planned for that AU. Hope you’ll stick with me to find out what’s next!

Believe it or not, out of the three writers for this blog, not one of us had ever played or touched Overwatch. I’ve seen art from it drift by my dashboard a time or two, but I know next to nothing about it. If you ever have ideas for the Legend of Zelda, Mario, even Skyrim or Monster hunter, I’m your girl, but otherwise I am a blank slate.

My money’s on Sam getting the hang of the game first.

Also, for any changes to the scheduled times, each chapter will have the next update time listed in the notes for that chapter on all three sites. 

The posting dates were changed before The Study of the Four began posting due to personal issues, Sunday and Wednesday were the winners in a poll decided by the readers.
