Sam and Dean didn’t think to tell them where they were going, so at first they might think the boys just went a little farther out in the motel to search for supplies. Eventually, they’ll realize they aren’t coming back, and they’ll go to Dean’s home to search. When they find it abandoned, they’ll be forced to think that the boys were kidnapped or taken away, just like Bree was.

One way or the other, Sam and Dean will have a lot of explaining to do when/if they get back there.

I ended up having it easier than @neonthewrite in my calculations, which is good since at first I just went “Four inches sounds perfect!”

Sam is 6′4″ tall, making him 76 inches tall. 76/4=19.

So our scale is 1:19.

Dean is 6′1″ tall, so taking his 73 inches into account and dividing by 19 makes him only 3.84 inches tall, and our shortest character in the BL crew to his chagrin.

In the opposite direction, Jacob is 6′5″ tall, so 77 inches multiplied 19 times over makes him 1463 inches tall as a giant, or about 122 feet tall! It’ll take a lot of food to keep him fed!

I went to school for physics and sometimes that bachelor degree in science comes in useful. Not as often as I’d like, but I do enjoy a little math fun from time to time.

For @neonthewrite, her Bowman stands 6′2″ tall if he was human-sized, which gives her an awkward scale of 1:18.5, so the numbers aren’t as pretty to work with but you can still figure it out. Sam might look the same height as Bowman while they’re standing together, but he’s technically taller.

Brothers Found || Jacob discovers Sam at the motel he was cursed at, and catches him.

Brothers Found is the first AU we created back when we originally completed A Lich of Sense, so the idea was to include Jacob in the storyline (he was feeling left out of Lich, and pouting at us that he couldn’t help Bowman deal with Dean through all that). The story later evolved into a lot more, especially once we reached the horror story in the third installment of the AU.

So, starts out simple, turns into the most painful ball of angst and terror we could imagine.

Haha, that’ll be so fun, I can almost guarantee it! Even with Jacob’s experience with smaller folk, he’ll have his hands full with Bowman. That sprite just doesn’t know when to quit, and it’s likely Jacob will get a bop or two before the meeting is over.

Of course, the brothers will have to be there, too, if nothing else to look after their tol while he deals with this winged guy their size. Considering Dean and Bowman’s headbutting in A Lich of Sense, I bet they’d be so very entertaining if they go around at the same scale!

I think hungover Dean is hard to resist for cutes. So adorably rumbled compared to his normal preening. Shuffling around in his socks with his hair all askew and blinking blearily at everything around him.

I originally headcannoned that Dean stole that pair of jeans from Sam… then neon reminded me that in my story my headcanons are canon, so Dean snitched those jeans from Sam, and they’re so comfy he uses them at night when he’s asleep! They’re too long for his shorter legs, so they bunch up around his boots if he wears them during the day.

Original post.

Well, there’s not much he can do. If it’s at Bobby’s, he’ll probably sulk while she shrinks down. If she’s not at Bobby’s, he might be able to get the hunter to tow the car there.

If Bobby’s busy, Dean will sit there, watch her shrink, and give his angry face to anyone that gets too close. That’s his crazy car.

Also, there’s a huge difference between watching someone drive or learning what the controls are, and actually driving, which is why a lot of time is spent with either driving teachers/your parents in the passenger seat to talk you through those first attempts.

That would depend a lot on what the shenanigans were that Gabriel was up to, honestly. The snarky, smarmy archangel is probably up to trouble, and trouble of his type can really cause problems when you’re four inches or less.

Dean would probably be offended, because somehow I feel like the joke would end up being on him in BA. In BL… it’s hard to say. The series is still young.

In fact he does! Just like Sam, Dean and Jacob, the moment he was cursed a part of his mind was unlocked by that same curse! This will be a theme that is touched upon heavily in the as of yet, unnamed twelfth installment of Brothers Apart (the story I am currently agonizing over), and Sean’s ability will be revealed.
