In the last story update it felt a bit like a missed opportunity to suggest maybe whomever cursed Jacob was waiting for him to grow hungry and desperate enough to go on a rampage, giving them plenty of time to get away and cover their tracks from any nosy hunters

Well, whatever happened to Jacob has happened some time ago, so if someone was waiting for him to get desperate enough to go on a rampage, they were disappointed.

Jacob is a very naturally calm person and has a lot of survival experience. He’s been able to trap food on occasion (or steal cows), and certainly hasn’t come close to the point of a rampage, even after getting shot up and threatened by Dean. Which Sam and Dean know now, so it went unmentioned.

Would you mind including the successful guesses in a common tag with the unsuccessful ones? It’s fun to look back on previous guessing games, and that would make it easier to do so.

I unfortunately can neither go back and sort through the old guessing games to add in tags, and I can guarantee that I won’t remember a new tag going forward. Life and work has been very demanding, so it’s all I can do at times like this to keep up with posting the guesses at all.

In reference to giant Jacob trying to stay away from the LITTLE kids that want to use him as a playground in the Lunge, now I’m really curious how he’d try to stay away when stuck in the same room as them. We all know how self-conscious the big teddy can be and how scary the thought of knocking them off their feet with a single exhale, or worse a single vibration of him moving, is to him (yeah I know Gabriel set the no harm rules, but Jacob’s a worrywart)

Picture a guy bigger than a barn trying to scoot himself into the corner and be as unobtrusive as possible. Giant Jacob tries to make himself look smaller even in his sleep, so it’s an effort that he really works at. Too bad, this so many little guys and extra little guys around, he really cannot hide himself. There’s no mountains there to disappear into.

At best, he’d be able to keep himself away from all the tables and furniture and stuff, but I have a feeling he wouldn’t get much of a break beyond that. There would be a LOT of desperate looks to one of the human-sized folks to always be around as a chaperone. Halp him. He can’t even see these tiny kids.

Mini Jacob meets Wumbo Jacob

I’m sorry I have to let you know that reading this ask nearly knocked me out of my chair. Thank you so much.

To answer the actual scenario, these two might actually have trouble even perceiving each other, and even then that might be with the help of the Lounge. Luckily there’s the no-harm magic around so that giant Jacob speaking wouldn’t shake mini Jacob apart.

Beyond that, their sizes are so different it’d be hard to comprehend. Giant Jacob definitely can’t see the little guy as more than a speck. Meanwhile the little guy’s whole entire sky is a face. What the heck. Why this. He’d have to dive into someone’s satchel to just try to process the size difference. Do not leave him on that giant’s hand; he’d get lost.

When the 2 regular Winchesters and giant Jacob arrive at the Lounge (that is going to be entertaining), will the others start bombarding questions on how Dean managed to save Sam, and himself, from the witch? I can already imagine the confusion

Lol!

In the actual story they might not. Part of the ‘protective’ enchantment over the place is everyone can sense certain details about the others, so they automatically know which Sam is their Sam or that this Dean is actually Dean.

(That way none of the Deans tries shooting up the place when he finds it full of ten other hims)

But it would be pretty funny to find themselves beset by a bunch of guys wondering how the hell, when the truth is they just never encountered Celeste or stayed at that motel!

I was wondering, how do you think that Dean’s big brother instincts change from the show to each of his interactions with the different littles or when he’s a little himself? (Maybe not change so much as change how their expressed…)

It all depends on the little in question!

As far is Sam is concerned, he is ultra protective, but the first thing Sam will do is scold him for not giving him space or independence. Dean tends to take stuff like that to heart, so he’ll lay off (a little), and Sam won’t feel so stifled.

Of course, if you don’t tell Dean right off, he tends to get in habits, and might end up just casually picking you up and taking you wherever he is, as Jacob can well attest to in certain future AUs. Sam would be the first to tell him he shouldn’t let Dean get set in his ways!

As a little himself, he’s an incredibly fussy guy. He’ll lecture Sam for days if he gets himself picked on at school, and when Sam’s a smol Dean does his best to keep him away from danger. It’s a lot harder for the little guy, but he tries!
