What about when Sam was shrunk, started being cared for by Walt and Mallory, Dean comes back to the motel and finds a shrunken Sam along with the Watches. He decides early on that he would thank them for taking care of his younger brother while he was away, and finds out about Bree, manages to find other operations along the way and save them. Also Bobby gets involved as a sort of ‘safe haven’

Sounds like fun! Younger Dean, totally upsetting the delicate balance at the motel like he’s so good at. He would have to work hard to charm the crew enough for trust, but Sam certainly would love to have him around. Bobby’s home is always open to refugees, and smol ones like the borrowers aren’t even a strain on his resources.

They’re so fun! I’m glad you’re enjoying them with me– it’s been enjoyable writing about these two poor dorks. They could use a break.

One fun part of it is both cowriters have ideas for my bros and their characters XD So who knows, it might split into two separate AUs, maybe even a third with just the bros depending on how inspiration goes, and time to write.

Brothers Saved

Oh, that is an adorable idea! We’ll have to keep it in mind (Jacob certainly ends up with a brother on either shoulder from time to time and they do so love to bicker; I’m sure it’ll happen to Sherlock and John at some point in the future). Complete with getting jabbed if the neck if he goes with the other’s idea. Now who’s the devil and who’s the angel?

XD Aww, it’s an adorable idea but not quite up my alley! Plus, I wouldn’t want to steal the title of ‘mouse whisperer’ from Oscar. Sam’s skilled with mice, but Oscar’s best friend was Rita the mouse as a kid and she helped him survive when his mother vanished. ;o; She brought him food and let him hug her when he was really sad, and since then he’s made sure to imprint on all the new litters of baby mice. Mice only live a couple years, and Oscar has seen many generations go by while he’s the honorary mousie himself.
