It all depends on the size of the bug/spider, of course, but these brothers won’t take something like that lightly. Mosquitoes are a little easier to deal with. As far as bugs go, they’re fairly frail. One good boot, even a teeny one like Dean’s, is enough to kill it off. (Bonus – check out this animation from @ask-tinysam: here) Lucky for them, they’re less of a target next to a regular sized human who has a lot more blood to offer. That would be a bite they’d feel for a long time afterwards.

If Jacob ever, ever, twitches the brothers off his shoulders, he better be ready to catch them! And the scolding would never end for him after that. Never.

Spiders they’ll need to take out with their knives if they encounter any. Worst comes to worst, they find a way out of there without setting the spider off. Better not get stuck in any webs like Sam managed in Schism!

They’d deal with it a lot like humans in the past – if it happens, it happens. They might get forewarning from televisions or humans in the area, and if they do they might be able to hitch a ride out of there. Otherwise, they’ll deal with it as it comes. Disaster hits, pick up the pieces of their lives afterwards and then life goes on.

This does mean that if a volcano goes off close by, there’s a chance the entire civilization that lives in the area might be wiped off the map.

It’s hard to say right off the bat. When I write John or Walt in my stories, they’re very volatile characters. One little thing can set them off, as I discovered with Walt.

I’d say he’d be a little hardheaded about the idea, but he’d realize they’re pretty harmless. All they honestly want to do is keep out of sight and away from humans. There can be a bad egg or two, but mostly they are smol innocents that need more protection from humans than the other way around.

I ended up having it easier than @neonthewrite in my calculations, which is good since at first I just went “Four inches sounds perfect!”

Sam is 6′4″ tall, making him 76 inches tall. 76/4=19.

So our scale is 1:19.

Dean is 6′1″ tall, so taking his 73 inches into account and dividing by 19 makes him only 3.84 inches tall, and our shortest character in the BL crew to his chagrin.

In the opposite direction, Jacob is 6′5″ tall, so 77 inches multiplied 19 times over makes him 1463 inches tall as a giant, or about 122 feet tall! It’ll take a lot of food to keep him fed!

I went to school for physics and sometimes that bachelor degree in science comes in useful. Not as often as I’d like, but I do enjoy a little math fun from time to time.

For @neonthewrite, her Bowman stands 6′2″ tall if he was human-sized, which gives her an awkward scale of 1:18.5, so the numbers aren’t as pretty to work with but you can still figure it out. Sam might look the same height as Bowman while they’re standing together, but he’s technically taller.

Original post.

Well, there’s not much he can do. If it’s at Bobby’s, he’ll probably sulk while she shrinks down. If she’s not at Bobby’s, he might be able to get the hunter to tow the car there.

If Bobby’s busy, Dean will sit there, watch her shrink, and give his angry face to anyone that gets too close. That’s his crazy car.

Also, there’s a huge difference between watching someone drive or learning what the controls are, and actually driving, which is why a lot of time is spent with either driving teachers/your parents in the passenger seat to talk you through those first attempts.

That would depend a lot on what the shenanigans were that Gabriel was up to, honestly. The snarky, smarmy archangel is probably up to trouble, and trouble of his type can really cause problems when you’re four inches or less.

Dean would probably be offended, because somehow I feel like the joke would end up being on him in BA. In BL… it’s hard to say. The series is still young.
