May 8th excerpt:

“What are you planning?” Sam asked curiously as he made himself at home, pushing Dean’s collar up to block him from sight and leaning against his older brother’s neck. Just another day, living with his giant brother.

“Oh… I’m sure there’s something we can do with him.”

April 26th excerpt:

Against his judgement, Stan leaned out from his corner a little to survey as much of the area his limited window revealed. While the interior wasn’t anything like he remembered, he recognized the basic elements. Like the case full of pies that Dean was inspecting. It was so odd, seeing pastries that always looked to huge and untouchable in his few memories, but from the human’s perspective.

As if Stan hadn’t already been salivating from the smells alone. They looked all the more appetizing from Dean’s angle.

July 29th excerpt:

Jacob was still messing awkwardly with his tie when Dean stepped out of the bathroom. His suit was on, and he was absently adjusting the collar when he spotted Jacob’s trouble. “So I guess this means it fits?” Dean asked casually as he came over to the table, eyeing up how the suit sat on Jacob’s shoulders. “Maybe not perfect, but beggars can’t be choosers…” He trailed off as he leaned in towards Jacob. They both already knew it was hard to find good clothing in Jacob’s size.

“Lemme give you a hand…” Dean offered as he reached automatically for the tiny tie Jacob was trying to straighten. He doubted a guy the size of a finger had much use for clothing so fancy, unless there were pint-sized balls by the mice in the walls.

July 15th excerpt:

A distant “Come in!” made its way to where they stood, and Sam and Dean both frowned in unison, a silent look passing between them.

“What is it?” Walt asked warily, disliking the way the air filled with tension.

“Might be nothing,” Dean muttered, his voice staying low for them.

“Might be something,” Sam interjected, one hand tight on Dean’s collar while the other rested against his brother’s neck.

Not yet. Not because he won’t or doesn’t want to, but after spending thirteen years apart, it took them a while to get used to each other. Dean was afraid something like that would push his brother away. Right when they were finally getting used to each other, Taken happened, and so a long time was spent recovering.

Of course, now things are going back to normal and anything’s possible…
