February 10th excerpt:

Stan frowned as he approached the laptop screen, coming up just short of the body near the keyboard. More and more he was glad that he’d grown up being told to never be seen by humans. Apparently some of them were highly interested in the idea of tiny people. Given what he’d gone through, some of which he couldn’t even remember it was so awful, the thought disturbed Stan.

June 5th excerpt:

Dean blocked Jacob’s passage again with a hand, but it was only a half-hearted attempt this time. It would be easy for Jacob to get around the hand if he wanted to. Dean couldn’t stop himself from being slightly crestfallen at the way Jacob kept insisting that he needed to get out of the way.

“But… didn’t you want to learn how to do it? What to look for?” Dean couldn’t stop the hopeful tone of voice he adopted, looking forward to teaching someone else the ropes for once. Something he hadn’t done since Sam was around.

June 3rd excerpt:

Watching the computer boot up for a second or two, Jacob shoved his hands into his pockets and glanced over the expanse of the table. For the moment, that was how far the world went for him. He didn’t have any way to climb down, and it was well-established that Dean wouldn’t be letting him on the floor.

At least the attention was off him for a moment. Jacob, assuming he was off the hook while Dean worked, wandered towards the nearest edge of the table, looking out over the room at the gargantuan furniture and faraway walls.

Unfortunately for Jacob, that wasn’t what Dean had in mind for him.

A shadow fell over his body as two fingers pinched his hoodie between them. He was hauled off his feet and brought over to the laptop, dangling over the keyboard for a few seconds before being unceremoniously dropped down between the trackpad and the keyboard. He pitched forward and caught himself on his hands, noting that the plastic was already getting warmer from the machine at work within the casing.

February 28th excerpt:

Before his hands even cleared the screen, Sam was on the keyboard, pacing back and forth as he tapped in the password they’d helped Jacob pick. The password was chosen specifically to be hard to crack, and so that two guys that couldn’t reach from one end of the keyboard to the other could type it in without help.

In other words, Jacob and Dean let Sam come up with the passwords.

January 18th excerpt:

“Come on, dude, there’s a computer right in front of you, I just need you to help me out,” Jacob said exasperatedly. The clerk rolled his eyes and made a laborious show of putting his hand on the mouse and clicking on his solitaire window to close it.

Just one little thing. Y’know, your actual job, shithead.
