Poor Sam. He’ll have to find a way to let Dean know it’s him. Maybe he can get some of his pencil lead out of the desk and scratch out a message for Dean. It won’t be easy, but mice are crafty little guys. Sam can manage it. Dean will never let him live it down, that’s for sure. And for the next few days he’s got a mouse in his pocket, keeping Sammy safe.
I have a feeling, if cats can pull off a bitchface, that’s what Dean will be getting for that picture. Super teeny kitty, though! So cute, and it’s probably a good thing he only has itty bitty claws. Dean will probably be driving him nuts before they manage to get him back to normal.
He can hang it right next to the Samulet for all to see! Dean would be beaming whenever he caught sight of Sam’s little carving, knowing how much work the little guy put into that tiny bit of wood.

They would both be so shocked for that first moment of realization, just staring in amazement. Of course, shock aside, Dean will have to take advantage of this and show Sam some of the things he’s missed all those years of being small. Let him have a day of feeling ‘normal.’
After everything is over for the night, Sam would end up substituting in for a teddy bear cuddled against his chest. Sam can’t have Dean saying things like that; without a brother like Dean, he might not even be around anymore. They watch out for each other.
Dean does, and hopefully Sam gets better. He just needs time after everything he went through and I’m sure Dean understands that. Sam appreciates it all even when he can’t show it.
Coming up with a present for that tall brother of his will be quite a project, that’s for sure.

This will be touched upon heavily in the future a few times. Sam’s people are undeniably caught up in this storyline from start to finish, including Bobby’s background. After all, they’re the ones that saved him from the witch in the first place.
