November 5th excerpt:

“Lucky I’m such a morning person,” Jacob joked. “We could get on the road for a bit before grabbing some breakfast. Since nowhere will be open yet.” He lowered his hand to the desk for Dean so he could at least get himself ready for the trip.

“And then onwards! To the next hunt!” Dean boasted loudly as he slid off Jacob’s hand.

I imagine that Dean’s probably upset about not being able to hunt monsters, so a hunt that Sam can’t solve cause he’s too tol might be a good starter.

Dean will be so stuffy about the fact that Sam’s a full-fledged hunter but he’s never even gotten the chance!

The amount of sass Sam will get if there’s a hunt where Dean happens to be the more useful size than Sam. So much. Sam’s going to get called all the nicknames. Every nickname. Damn Sasquatch. Why’d he have to go and get so tall?!?! At least Dean’s the only one that can navigate so easily in the vents between them. Sam would practically have to worm his ways into the vents, and that’s if they’re even big enough to fit him at all.

April 24th excerpt:

Sam looked back to find that the tiny kid he’d discovered running for hiding, and his hunting instincts kicked into high gear.

The kid might look small, and might be harmless, but as John Winchester had told Sam a thousand times, might meant nothing if someone got killed over it. If Sam couldn’t find out for sure this kid was harmless, he needed to treat him as a possible threat. And that meant he couldn’t let him vanish into hiding and possibly lose track of him.
