April 30th excerpt:

“Holy shit,” Jacob whispered. He barely needed to glance around to know that Sam’s hand was a lot bigger than Dean’s. Jacob may have been dwarfed in Dean’s palm, but he was even smaller in Sam’s.

For a guy that was normally four inches tall, Sam loomed overhead more than Dean ever could. Warm hazel eyes stared down at him, reflecting back his worry.

“Holy shit, Sam.” Jacob remained sitting on a massive lifeline, certain that he’d just topple over again if he tried to stand. His legs weren’t strong enough.

June 13th excerpt:

“I guess I’ll just lie up on the bed for now, give you guys some floorspace if you want it. Okay?” Jacob waited to make his move, knowing that even though things were much more at ease, he couldn’t take it for granted. Even Sam and Dean didn’t like it much when he loomed, so advance warning was always welcome.

Walt took an uncertain step back, unconsciously raising his blade-wielding arm. The instinct was strong in him to vanish behind the nightstand at the thought of the human in the room getting up, but he suppressed it. Sam and Dean hadn’t moved, and he was driven to match them.

“No one’s stopping you,” Walt shot back stubbornly. Somewhere deep inside, his mind wondered what he was thinking, backtalking a giant like that.

May 24th excerpt:

“Let’s save the Godzilla act for later. You don’t want to use up your best looming on us, right?”

Jacob shrugged slowly and pretended to think it over. “I guess you’re right,” he said after only a few seconds. “Don’t wanna cast a shadow on the training, here.”

Jacob lowered himself down to lie flat on his front. His arms, thicker than any of the others were tall, crossed and he rested his chin on them with a smile. “How’s that? Minimal looming and everything.”
