December 6th excerpt:
“Our work saves people,” Sam pointed out the flaw in Logan’s argument. “After this,” he waved at Logan’s size, “are you really going to argue against magic and monsters? With me? ”

November 11th excerpt:
“And now you guys run around fighting monsters,” Jacob mused, cracking a grin.
“Everyone needs a hobby,” Sam shot back without missing a beat, a wry grin to match Jacob’s. “Like I said, I came to terms with this a long time ago. I have no problem working this way, even if it means I fight monsters the size of Godzilla. Dean has his strengths, and I’ve got mine. We’re a team.”
October 31st excerpt:
“Sprites are pretty out there, as far as what we deal with. Interviews are a little more on the ordinary side of hunting,” Sam continued his explanation. “Sometimes, the monster we find isn’t the monster you expect. The werewolf next door. A haunted house is really haunted. Someone hiding a deep, dark family secret. The only way to get to the bottom of those isn’t to run in, guns blazing. You’ve gotta talk it out, slide past law enforcement and get rid of the monster before it strikes again. Police just ain’t equipped to handle a monster that only dies to silver bullets.”
After another moment of thought, Sam shrugged again. “Not that I ever do the interviews. That kinda thing is up to Dean.”
June 11th excerpt:
Jacob sighed and shrugged before reaching out to push Dean’s hand. “Sure, running towards the monsters. Sign me up.”
“Hey, as long as I’m running towards the monsters, it means they ain’t about to chase after me,” Dean shot easily back, smirking at the featherlight feeling of an amazingly small hand trying to push against his. On his own, Jacob would never be able to move the hand, but Dean played along and moved it away. Before getting out of reach, though, he curled his hand and playfully messed up Jacob’s hair. He couldn’t pass up a prime opportunity like that to mess with the kid.
