They were lucky enough to be found by local littles after their escape, curled into the darkest corner they could find in the wall. Those two shivering Winchesters were adopted into the family until they moved out on their own to a new house.

And the funny thing is, the people Mina Chandler dealt with in Taken were from the UK in the first place, we just never got to see them because Sam got out before he was sold off… to them or to Celeste.

It is definitely a crossover with a different, preexisting canon! In fact, though it is not @borrowedtimeandspace‘s special, she has actually written these characters before on her blog, and that served as the inspiration to start this new story.

Either way, they escaped as kids from their new owners and were not recaptured, so they will not have a new set of owners in the AU.

Unfortunately for the brothers, John Winchester believes them dead and is unlikely to appear in this AU, and Castiel will not be there to save them.

Oh, getting closer, but not quite there yet.
The brothers do finagle an escape (don’t leave a paperclip close to Dean Winchester, under four inches tall or not), but after they were trapped in cages and treated like pets, they aren’t about to try and face any more humans to ask for help back to the states, and they are in no position to find their way to an airplane or boat.
