March 13th excerpt:
Sam stared down at the ground again, his face flushed. “I – I dunno,” he answered quietly. He scuffed his boots against the ground, afraid to admit how scared he was. If they were right, and the world certainly seemed to be on their side, he was small.
And if Dean hadn’t been hit by the same thing, and Sam devoutly hoped he hadn’t, he would be huge.
Big enough to pick Sam up between two fingers without a problem, or close his hand around any of the sprites that were helping.
Sam rubbed his eyes, exhausted. “Be really careful, okay?” he told Cerul seriously. “Dean’ll be real upset if he can’t find me. Dad said he’s supposed to watch me if he’s out, and it’ll be all Dean’s fault that I got attacked.”
March 10th excerpt:
Sam’s mouth turned dry, and he shot a look at Dean. Give it a shot? he mouthed at his brother, having heard nothing of this from anyone. He rubbed the back of his neck in a distracted gesture, trying to brush away the warning tingle of humans watching them.
Dean was almost glowing with hope. He nodded eagerly. “It’s a cleansing spell,” he said in a hushed voice. “Maybe it can cleanse the curse just like the hex. It can’t hurt, right?”

Oh, Garth. How I love him. But it’s so hard to predict his actions because it will all depend on how events play out.
After all, this is the guy who killed the tooth fairy.

So, if the smol brothers are up to shenanigans, they should be sure to duck into hiding if he’s around. If they’re in trouble, there’s a good chance he’ll help out these very strange curse victims. If it’s just Sam smol, Garth will have a Dean solidly in between him and Sam until Sam gets his overprotective big brother to chill.

It’s great to hear you enjoyed them! They are one of my favorite parts of BA to write, whether it be flashbacks of their first week or flashbacks from the time they were separated.
I can’t say for sure when / if there will be more follow up flashbacks. Each flashback connects to a specific part of the story, and the newest one is from a future storyline where Sam has a slight issue with avoiding a human walking around. Only the future will tell if more come.
February 29th excerpt:
A loud click sounded over the line, and a familiar gruff voice spoke up. “Who in hell’s name is this? ”
Dean winced, but before he could muster up the courage to interrupt the hunter, Bobby went on. “You should not have this…”
Sam jumped in, saving his older brother from the scolding. “Bobby! It’s us! We, ah… we’ve got a small problem.”
There was a long pause on the other end, then a sigh. “What kind of problem? ”

John Winchester may appear in any of the AU’s, at any time. BT is no exception, and since he’s left his two boys in the motel it can be assumed that he will eventually return to them when his case is complete.
February 8th excerpt:
Sam got on Jacob’s hand, planting his boots so he wouldn’t lose balance when it started moving. He gestured for the teen to lift it up. “We won’t let you down. Oh, and Dean?” He pulled out the rest of his salt, tossing the pouch to his older brother. “Just in case.”
Dean gave a jaunty salute with the salt, his trademark smirk in place.
February 2nd excerpt:
The sharp sound of someone clearing his voice came from behind, and Dean twisted around in surprise. Sam was standing on the edge of the shelf with a disapproving frown on his face. A boot dangled from each hand.
“What are you, my mother?” Dean griped.
February 1st excerpt:
“Sam, what’s … what’s up,” he rasped, trying to wake as fast as he could. After the caution both small brothers had shown, he doubted Sam would walk right up to him like that without a good reason.
Or without Dean.
