October 1st excerpt:

As Sam was finishing with his hair, Dean packed the last of their supplies. He replaced the lid of the ceramic pot he’d found behind a dresser a few months back, covering up the dry food supplies they’d gathered to keep it fresh, and keep any bugs away from it. They would return here again, and if the food was still good, they would use it for meals. If not, they’d take it and dispose of it. It was best to avoid wasting what they took from the human side of the household.

With their place packed up and cleaned, they left it behind once more.

August 28th excerpt:

“Sam, you comin’?!” Dean called.

“Just a second!”

Dean impatiently waited by the exit, tapping a boot. “If you didn’t have so much hair, this wouldn’t be such a project!” he called again.

@torchmlp replied to your post:

of course Dean would have an urge to cut Sam’s hair, even before he knew it was Sam XD

XD He wouldn’t be Dean otherwise. At least Sam’s hair should be… 90% safe from him. Since Dean’s shorter than his hair. Of course, he does have a knife, and it’s plenty sharp for a few strands of hair…

April 12th excerpt:

“Where’d ya find that?” Sam asked, lazily brushing a hand through his ever-lengthening hair, though John usually prevailed upon him to trim it down when it started to get in his eyes. He put off cutting it a little longer each time.

Dean shrugged. “It was right in your bag,” he said, pointing at the backpack slumped down next to the nightstand.

Sam bit his lips. “I thought I lost it weeks ago,” he admitted.

“I just… knew it was there,” Dean said, uncertain now. “I needed it.”
