I’d definitely recommend starting with the main storyline, Brothers Apart. It’s where everything started (my writing style evolves with the stories, I started writing these quite a few years ago >o>).
You can find links to all the stories here. We post on three different websites, so it depends on how you like to read. Archive of Our Own does allow downloading the files so they can be seen on e-readers as well, fanfiction tends to be a hot mess, deviantart is the site I started out on.
All the other AUs are self contained (Brothers Lost, Brothers Found, Brothers Consulted, ect…), so you can begin with any of them, but Brothers Apart will have the deepest backstory of them all and tends to lay the groundwork for the rest.

an easier way to find story links on mobile
I know this response came in after I posted the last update, so I’m going to link you right back to it, where the first bulletpoint is about what we’re changing.
If that’s not enough for you, there’s no other way for it on tumblr with the mobile limitations. Feel free to visit my deviantart, where I took the time to arrange all the story links to all the different sites.
I’m trash for anything you write tbh. XD.
I love you, never leave
Keep doin whatcha doin
You too
More art of the brothers
That art costs me $$, of which I have none. We accept all fanart to the blog, but actually commissioning artwork for the stories happens when the writers have inspiration and money.
Links to fanwork of ba and other stories from all platforms. Maybe a complete masterlist of all deviant art and ao3 fanworks?

I’m not 100% sure what’s up there now but things I don’t think are on there that I’d like to see: – a post for when a story is posted on DA and AO3 that I can reblog as a fic rec. With summary and characters etc. I think it would also raise awareness for the series and get it out to a wider audience, which would be awesome because everyone should read it. – A kofi link? – A link to a commissions page – A page that lists all the related authors and betas and artists so I can follow all of them – also maybe a record of contest winners of old – schedule of events for the year including contest and when each new survey for the next published story will be – links to BA on every platform – a pretty theme
This is just the kind of response I’m looking for ❤ I’ll have to split it up to answer.
a post for when a story is posted on DA and AO3 that I can reblog as a fic rec. With summary and characters etc. I think it would also raise awareness for the series and get it out to a wider audience, which would be awesome because everyone should read it.
We used to do this, back in the beginning, but a lot of those posts tended to get ignored/no one was reblogging. Like I said in the last post, I think I’ll look back into it, now that I have a format that looks good on posts that I use on the main story masterpost page (link only works on desktops).
I’ll see what I can come up with over the weekend when I’m not busy, and maybe a post or two for the older stories, like the original Brothers Apart. We love if people reblog our posts! Getting the word out is the main goal of this blog, but we rarely see reblogs, mostly likes.
A kofi link?
I’ll try and get some HTML over the weekend to put the ko-fi link up on the header. I’ve been putting it off. The ko-fi page is here, if anyone’s interested before I have the time to get it up, to support the art for the stories and/or broke creator of BA.
A link to a commissions page
I don’t have a completely organized page for the commissions, but we do have a tag for them on the tumblr. It’s hard because not all of them are posted on this site, especially if we got them for story parts that aren’t published yet. If you want to see the deviantart commissions, check out the folder I have on Deviantart, and browse the commissoned art tag on tumblr.
Of course, reblogging the commissions we’ve gotten supports both us and the original artist!
A page that lists all the related authors and betas and artists so I can follow all of them
I actually had this like, half under construction before life went nuts and things got busy. I’ll get to finishing it! *Puts back on to-do list*
also maybe a record of contest winners of old
I think I had one before, I’ll dig around the older posts to see, and make one if not.
schedule of events for the year including contest and when each new survey for the next published story will be
I haven’t done this yet because it’s hard to know for sure when the next story will post, but I guess I can just change the dates if something comes up?? Maybe. Will consider options for a calendar.
links to BA on every platform
Got this on the main tumblr page (a deep abiding hatred for tumblr mobile, which renders all of this work unreachable):
There are links to all platforms, and if any links ever break, send me a message or ask and I’ll fix them!
I did recently update the main tumblr theme, but the mobile one isn’t as friendly for changes. Did anyone have any ideas? I wanted to stick close to the darker colors to keep the foreboding Supernatural atmoshpere we have going.

links to the new chapters on the page – but I understand that that may be far too many new links. perhaps the first chapters and every ten afterwards so people can go directly to the story?
Hmm, it’s too much work to do one every chapter, that’s for sure. But I do make a masterpost over here, and I could probably manage a post per story that I reblog every so often while the story is posting, and then occasionally afterwards to remind people. I’ll have to look into it over the weekend, maybe I’ll make some posts for the older stories while I have extra time (after the baby shower I got pulled into going to for a girl I don’t know)
Oh and if you didn’t know, there are links on the main tumblr page, but they can only be used by the desktop tumblr because mobile tumblr is a butt.
Each AU page has a listing of all the stories and links to each website they’re posted on. But I’ll still do that post, too, since that could be seen on mobile.
