That’s an idea I didn’t think of! It would be really cute if he found the right family!

Poor guys just can’t catch a break. This would be more likely to be a case within BT or BA, instead of an entire separate AU

That’s an interesting one I never thought of. It would be an interesting encounter for Walt, after his checkered history with humans.

I’ve thought about how it would go if Gordon found the downsized brother first… and it never seems to end well. *shudders*
Still a little cold, but there’s definite variety for ideas here, who knows, maybe I’ll get a new idea.

Keep the guesses coming! But this one’s getting colder.
Since no one has gotten it right, here’s a compilation of all the guesses so far to give you all a hand:
All good guesses but none hit the mark! If anyone gets it right, there will be a sneak peek put up for everyone to see!
Other points of interest brought up:

Celeste isn’t out of the story yet, as seen by her surprise showing in The Schism of Fire and Water (x) at the end as the person that was pulling Ilyana’s strings. Sam’s ability is starting to evolve more fitting to the story, and he has the ability to know when he’s been spotted or is being tracked. It’s a tingling on the back of his neck, a solid hammer of uneasiness that can come out of nowhere the second he’s spotted. The visions are going to taper off for him slowly.
As for the rest of the story… you’ll just have to wait and see… 😉

Getting warmer, but nope, these are not what the mystery AU will be!
I might do something in the future with only Dean shrinking down being found by a kid. The interactions would be fun, and seeing how Sam comes in just as fun. Big-little brother to the rescue! Or something. But nothing on the table just yet.
A kid finding both shrunken brothers… I’m not going to say anything more than that might come up in Brothers Lost. Don’t want to spoil everything, after all. 😉

Nope, it’s nothing to do with the field borrowers! And currently, there are no plans in BT to show Sam and Dean encountering them as kids.

As shown in Taken, John would not in fact, kill the little people just because they were different. He ended up helping Dean relocate them to Sam’s old motel.
No, this is more like what Gordon would do.
And if Dean was like that, Sam would be dead.
