July 20th excerpt:

Sam twisted around in his seat and rifled through the belongings in the back, pushing aside some of the tent fabric that filled the backseat until he could snatch up one of the library books he’d checked out.

“Here.” Sam tossed one at Dean. “Something for the trip.”

Dean plucked up the edge of a cover. “I’m so thrilled,” he said sarcastically.

Sam got a book for himself and leafed through to the section on giants. “Might as well pass the time.”

It’s hard to say right off the bat. When I write John or Walt in my stories, they’re very volatile characters. One little thing can set them off, as I discovered with Walt.

I’d say he’d be a little hardheaded about the idea, but he’d realize they’re pretty harmless. All they honestly want to do is keep out of sight and away from humans. There can be a bad egg or two, but mostly they are smol innocents that need more protection from humans than the other way around.

July 19th excerpt:

“What do you think Jacob means about buying more time?” Dean wondered as he straightened the last of the tent poles in the backseat.

“Guess we’ll find out,” Sam said dryly.

Anything can happen in the future, and I know for sure that all three boys miss each other! It was a startling break that they didn’t see coming, and Oscar might be shy at first when he sees how much they’ve changed (and grown, Dean did you really need to get taller), but I think he’d warm back up to them.

July 18th excerpt:

“Sorry, guys,” was their only warning before Jacob’s fingers curled inwards, ushering Dean back towards his palm. He scooped them both up in his hand and tucked that hand close to his chest where he could defend them.

And the winner is…
