I know you said you wanted Sam’s bag in there, but since he’s so small I couldn’t get it in without making him look cluttered. I can go back and still add it if you’d like tho.
What Oscar becomes in the future will be all up to him, but he’s sure to want to watch after his Dean if he gets into any trouble. It isn’t likely he’ll ever stop being shy, since that’s an innate part of his nature, as much as Dean is stubborn and headstrong even when he’s not quite four inches tall, but there will be a definite effect on him from being around Dean, just like there was in BT when Oscar met Sam and Dean both.
For the rest, we’ll have to see what the future holds!
Oh, Jacob. To be teddy-sized to a smol. Sam definitely could XD Jacob has to put up with a lot of teasing from his friends at times, and Sam is happy to supply.
Jacob clenched his jaw before giving in and asking “Look, can you, uh, get me out of here? I can’t climb out myself.”
Sam turned his wary gaze to the source of the grumbling voice, and the sight of Jacob in a crib derailed his growing concerns. He walked over with a slowly growing smirk. Dean might come off as the snarky brother, but the truth was that they were evenly matched. Sam, having more patience than Dean, found it easier to hold back most days.
Today, with his head scrambled and his sleep interrupted, he had no intention of following through with that.
Sam put a hand on the edge of the crib. “I dunno. You think I outta kid-proof the room first? Someone might be looking out for you, putting you away like this.”
Mom-Sam has laid claim to the teddy.

Weaving is a big part of their lives, but the ones who do it the most are the field borrowers that live behind Bobby’s house. They use stalks of grass to make any bowls or baskets they need, and it’s an art form for them to pursue just as much as they fish for the minnows in the little stream that trickles behind their home.
Just to let everyone know, we’ve certainly never forgotten about the young canon Winchester bros + kiddo Oscar! From time to time we throw story ideas around and this is one of our favorite ones so far! Once we get enough ideas going, I’m sure it’ll become a full-fledged story like so many before it :3
Tiny Oscar and young Sam Winchester are too much cute to contain! Dean will have to keep a stern eye on this pair, if only to keep Sam from feeding Oscar candy constantly.

Walt Watch. Our favorite borrower dad to watch as he yells and scolds hunters and humans. Did you know originally he was killed in the first story of BA?
You weren’t the only ones caught off guard by his return! A review on fanfiction.net made me realize that no. He never was mentioned to be dead like Mallory was in the first story. I combed the pages, discovered he was still alive, and an entire story bloomed with him. He’s received more character development than I ever expected my smol borrower dad to receive, and I love him.
