Will there be Hotheaded sass from Dean in Brothers Discovered?

There will probably be plenty of hotheaded Dean sass in Brothers Discovered!

I can’t speak for most of the story… so far we’ve only got the first night finished, and the most we got was sleepy-not-completely-coherent Dean sass, but he and John… they try but they never quite hit it off the way Sam and John do. And then there’s Stan getting thrown in, and he’ll add some spice of his own to the mix.

sleepy-not-completely-coherent Dean sass:

“Shh!” Sam hissed, glancing around furtively. “There… there’s a giant close by! I can hear him!”

Rubbing his forehead, Dean winced. “Oh, that.”

“That?! ” Sam exclaimed, his voice briefly going up. With a gasp he covered his mouth with both hands, eyes bright with fear. “What do you mean, that? ” he asked, his voice muffled.

February 11th excerpt:

The laptop got placed in front of the covers, and Sam slid Stan into the top of the pillow pile, then sat on the last remaining pillow next to them. “Have at it,” he said, dropping the remote controller next to Stan and pulling the laptop closer.

Stan blinked owlishly at the huge device put in front of him, a little overwhelmed by the sight of it. It was easily twice Stan’s height in length, likely more, and covered in buttons of different shapes, colors, and sizes. Some of the buttons had numbers on them, but he still couldn’t figure out what they were for.

“Um… Sorry, what do I do with this?” He turned sheepishly to Sam, completely lost.

February 10th excerpt:

Stan frowned as he approached the laptop screen, coming up just short of the body near the keyboard. More and more he was glad that he’d grown up being told to never be seen by humans. Apparently some of them were highly interested in the idea of tiny people. Given what he’d gone through, some of which he couldn’t even remember it was so awful, the thought disturbed Stan.

Greetings! Quick question about your contest. For a literature piece, is it alright if it only involves one or two of your OCs, and the brothers only in mention? I had an idea for a Jacob-centric entry, but I wasn’t sure if that was allowed.

That’s fine! So long as it takes part in the Brothers AUs, and it’s clear that it’s in one of those universes, feel free to use any of the OCs. Be sure to include credit for the OC’s mommy though, that way everyone knows @neonthebright created Jacob! ❤

“You should live a little,” Dean said dryly, the sound of someone talking to a brick wall. “Have a little fun in your life.”

“I’m fine here,” Sam insisted. “Me an’ Stan will see what we can find about borrowers.”

February 8th excerpt:

Dean dropped the box on the table. “Grub’s up,” he announced unnecessarily, flipping open the lid perpendicular to where the brothers were sitting.

A moist steam rose from the box, filling the room with the strong smell of the fresh pizza. One half looked like a regular pizza, melted cheese and crispy crust, but the other side…

“Did you order a mountain?” Sam asked dubiously, leaning over to look at the amount of meat that somehow fit on the pizza.

“I’ll have you know that every bite will be delicious,” Dean insisted primly.

February 7th excerpt:

As though a switch clicked in Stan’s brain, he glanced around the table. He remembered seeing a pen tucked behind the plastic-wrapped complementary cups, as though it had been haphazardly tossed there by a previous guest. Before he could think twice, Stan was dashing across the cover of the book between him and his goal.

It took seconds for Stan to grab the clip near the top of the pen and haul it all the way back to Sam, panting a little from the effort as he stepped back to give the human room to take it.
