June 8th excerpt:
Dean tossed his tie on the bed and shucked off his jacket. “Didja miss me?” he called out to the room at large, scanning for Jacob on the table.
Jacob only peered around the laptop once he was certain it was Dean. All human voices tended to rumble a little in the air, but the deep, gruff cadence was coming to be more and more familiar to the cursed teen. He poked his head out from his hiding place before stepping out fully.

Sam will still feel Jacob when he looks at him (and boy is that a weird feeling to get from a guy smaller than him, but Jacob remains uncursed), but since Jacob is both nonthreatening and means no harm, it’ll be very light, almost like a tickle. Even Dean will make a more solid impression on Sam when he glances over.
June 7th excerpt:
Dean smirked. “We’ll have to get you a sense of style, smalls. Maybe when I find some new clothes for you that fit. You’ll be a ladykiller in no time.” Dean couldn’t see, but Jacob rolled his eyes at the comment. He finished tightening his tie, glancing towards the mirror next to the bathroom. “There,” Dean said, satisfied. “Lookin’ sharp.”

That depends on how work goes, and currently things haven’t changed since when we switched over to two! Two of the main writers have full time jobs and lives outside of the stories, the third writer goes to school full time. We will continue to write and do what we can, but posting chapters is time consuming and done between other things.
June 6th excerpt:
“Gonna just walk right in?” Jacob asked, finding something to ask to take his mind off his sudden nerves in the shadow of an enormous hunter. “That actually works?”
Dean bobbed his head as he slipped his fake ID back into the inner pockets of his jacket. Pockets that were large enough, gaping enough, for Jacob to disappear into the same way. And If Dean didn’t want him found, he never would be.
“All it takes is confidence and the right outfit,” Dean told Jacob as he ambled over to the bed and pulled his handgun out from the back of his pants.

It’s not that he’s less nice, because in Dean’s mind he thinks he’s being just as good a guy as always. He just takes all decisions into his own hands, tends to do whatever he thinks is best, and won’t really take no for an answer. It’s like high-level big brothering, because here, the younger one won’t argue back with the giant that captured me.
Poor Jacob.
And therein lies one of the big differences between Sam and Jacob. While they might both seem like shy little mini-Sasquatches, Sam is far more likely than Jacob to tell someone off. Jacob doesn’t like confrontation and he will avoid it even if it means silently dealing with Dean’s well-intentioned but stifling protectiveness.

June 5th excerpt:
Dean blocked Jacob’s passage again with a hand, but it was only a half-hearted attempt this time. It would be easy for Jacob to get around the hand if he wanted to. Dean couldn’t stop himself from being slightly crestfallen at the way Jacob kept insisting that he needed to get out of the way.
“But… didn’t you want to learn how to do it? What to look for?” Dean couldn’t stop the hopeful tone of voice he adopted, looking forward to teaching someone else the ropes for once. Something he hadn’t done since Sam was around.
