There is actually a very very good reason Sam doesn’t show up in many of the more recent excerpts, and it has nothing to do with how often he’s in the story!

@neonthewrite– Those sorts of things would be very neat, and if the sprites ever had something like that around, the idea would have come from Sam. The only tricky part is having the parts in the right shape for something like that to work.
@nightmares06– Sam was a little young for this at the time. Dean was the more hands-on kid, and more likely to know the mechanics of something like that while Sam would rather look up the information in a book before attempting. He might have devised something as he aged, but unlike the hang glider where he had Bowman’s wings to poke at to help his design, he has nothing to reference.
@neonthewrite– Regarding the lighter, the older sprites most likely reacted a lot like Bowman did. Amazed and wary, and surprised that he can hold even a small fire in his hand. Since he’s the expert with it, they’d most likely leave it to him simply out of fear of accidentally setting it off themselves (they really really don’t like fire).
@nightmares06– Sam does have his climbing abilities, only with the sprites he doesn’t have the standard hook and thread to climb with. Trees have fairly thick bark which offers plenty of handholds, so when he was bored, he would try climbing up the tree trunk. It gave him something to occupy himself with when Bowman finally got himself off the ground and flitted off, and went too far to hear Sam cheering him on.
Dean taught Sam caution with everything he entrusted his little brother with, so Sam knows the proper handling of a lighter (and a gun, though he didn’t get cursed with a gun). He won’t leave it lying around again, and along with many of the other items he was cursed with, it serves as an anchor to his old life to hang on to.

Oh noes! I’m so sorry. I’ve had a few arguments about people whose SOs decide they only ‘get’ to have certain site access or can’t be on social media at all (with me pretty much saying if anyone tried that on me I’d walk out then and there), but it’s so difficult when it’s a parent.
The main reason we don’t have a fb page is because most people in this world prefer to remain anonymous, with a few exceptions. It would feel a little redundant, since we do so much posting on tumblr. I considered it for a bit, but there’s not enough time in the day and I wasn’t sure if a fanfiction universe would really fit over there.
I hope she loosens up the restrictions a bit! Until then, feel free to tag yourself in the anon asks, like ktdog1 and sassy do when they send things in.

I generally say artwork or stories based on the AUs, though I’ve also traded for a copy of a friend’s book when she was interested in mine. I’m open to suggestions as well, you would just need to pm me on my main blog @nightmares06 so we can talk.
Also! It can’t be a simple sketch or a rushed story– it has to be worth the book, since I’m going to be spending money on it and shipping. Keep that in mind and don’t be disappointed if I turn down the trade for any reason!
I don’t know anything about copyrights, so for now I keep the book so only I can buy it, and if anyone ever wants to trade for it, they can message me. I don’t want to sell it since Supernatural belongs to someone else.
We don’t have a facebook page at all. The tumblr handles most of the extra information and the other fanfiction sites host the actual stories.
Is there a reason you’d want a Facebook page?
@neonthewrite– That sounds fantastic. The sprites have probably experimented with some of that before, at least a little. They have some efficient ways of keeping their homes warm, but no one’s perfect and I bet a time or two, juice has frozen over. Sam could pretend he’s having an icee if they crushed it up to eat it.
If Bowman got his tongue stuck on ice, he’d probably never hear the end of it from Sam. There would be lots of confused fluttering and then pouting from the little sprite!
@nightmares06– Sam loves showing Bowman new things, and he’ll certainly have fun in the winter when it snows! Just think of how big those snowflakes will be when they fall. They won’t melt instantly when Bowman or Sam hold them, so they’ll get to see them better than ever!
And plenty of teasing when Bowman got his tongue stuck, before helping him out.
Cas will be in the stories for sure, it’s just that he’s twisted up in Main Plot things, and so must wait for his time. But he will appear, and a lot of explanations for what has happened to Sam (both brothers in BL and BC) will be given at long last.
Celeste has a plan, and no one will stop her.
(Try not to send in duplicate asks! We will get to them, but unfortunately with full time jobs it’s difficult to answer things as they come in, which is why we schedule the asks to post. A flood of the same question will not make us post it faster.)
We finished writing it, but it’s not edited yet, so it won’t be in the next poll! We’ll be sure to get working on the editing as soon as we can, it’s a fun lil story.
