Probably!

No, that’s not all I’m going to say on this matter, but there’s not much more information to give at this time. Some things to note:

  1. She had every intention of returning to him, but could not.
  2. Oscar didn’t leave his home for days after she didn’t return.
  3. Humans did not come snooping in the walls after the disappearance.

Thanks! 😀  It was my birthday indeed, I had a birthday on a Monday ( Bummer, I know ).

Sticking with the wood sprites, they don’t tend to have big parties or anything, but they do mark the passing of a year more or less. It’s kind of loose – they keep track of what season they were born in. Bowman Leafwing, for example, is a winter birth, while Rischa Songbird is a spring birth. So, when winter rolls around Bowman ages up one year and gets all the congratulations. His aunt might make him something nice if he’s been keeping out of trouble (or at least trying).

For general celebrations involving more of the community, they’ll tend to gather in the clearing within their clearing (a circular clearing, it is their literal fairy ring). They’ll have singing and drums and dancing, usually, and just have fun out there until it’s time to get some rest. Festivals like this tend to happen more spontaneously; they don’t do the same one every year at the same time, but rather when something noteworthy happens, they have a party and then the next day someone has to ink the story in the Archives.

Would it be rude to AU headcanon Stan/Dean as a ship?? *hides because I feel bad bc Nathan is a sweetie*

borrowedtimeandspace:

I don’t think it’s rude at all! Headcanons are headcanons for a reason. @nightmares06 writes Dean as straight and Stan is in a relationship by the time they meet in Brothers Consulted, so they won’t end up a couple at all in our stories, but it’s perfectly fine to think up your own versions of the story as long as you don’t demand we make it canon.

I can’t wait to write about Stan and Nathan, though. Nate’s just the right amount of chill to go along with whatever shenanigans his secret agent brings home.

“Think fast!”

Oscar would try to flail out of the way but balloons are too big to avoid. Then there’s the matter of static. His little hands might stick to it even as he falls over with a balloon on him. Dean would find Oscar with his hair all staticky and even poofier than normal.

Lucky for Oz he’s not small enough to get completely stuck to it.

Thanks so much!

A super lot is in the works. We have a section devoted to future snippets and peeks for what’ll be coming out in the future (See Sneak Peeks or the mobile-friendly version), and the excerpts are from what we’re working on currently.

More Brothers Saved, plenty of Brothers Apart, Brothers Lost/Asunder/Consulted/Discovered/Divided ect. coming. At the moment, the only AU that doesn’t have a story finished is Brothers Together, because we’ve been caught up with all the others, and getting BA back on track!

Aside from that, we do have a few other stories that no one has guessed, so we haven’t released anything about them just yet. But rest assured, more stories and ideas are out there! (Writing is an addiction)

Cussing at himself isn’t likely, although you can bet Bowman would probably boast at himself in an endless circle if they all let him. Otherwise it’s time to race around the room to show off their wings, and both versions can frown because they’re both just as fast. They didn’t think this one through.

Considering how much grief the tol Deans are giving little Dean in the Lounge so far, any Bowman would probably get along with him better. Those giant Deans, who do they think they are? They need a bop, is what they need.

Shy little Oscar would, like with all people, awaken a quiet “protect this little guy” notion in Bowman. With Bowman that just means he’d probably be more patient with Oscar (especially kiddo Oscar) and not heckle him like he does everyone else. It’s hard to want to be mean to Oscar for any reason. That’s a Crime.

Wait, nobody’s guessed BD yet? I thought you already revealed it. Or am I mistaken? Isn’t it an AU where they got captured, sold over to England, escape, and then grow up in England? And it’s a story that focuses on their growing up, and at some point they meet young Stan (who is super adorable and maybe he also got shrunk but that’s more of a guess based on that ‘Stan is a kitten’ picture.)

Yup, no one has guessed BD yet!

You’ve got most of the basics of the AU there, but there’s one big glaring detail missing that ties into its entire storyline, so we can’t reveal it just yet.

So we’ve got:

  • Captured, sent to England
  • Focuses on growing up
  • Eventually meet Stan

Stan is not shrunk in this one, he is just a regular kid (a year older than Dean). The ‘Stan is a kitten’ picture actually is just from some random ramblings we were coming up with one day that resulted in that, and the borrower Stan pictures are not related to this AU at all. That is an entire separate entity on its own.

Someone actually guessed it, so stay tuned for the reveal shortly!

Will there be anymore Dragon Dean senarios? Or books?

I’m glad you liked the dragon Dean parts!

The little story there is actually a commission for @wolfie180g, and I did enjoy writing it, though I don’t have the time to return to a story like that without it being commissioned.

If you liked Dragon Dean, though, I highly recommend looking wolfie up! He’s their creation and there’s an entire series written about him, including a crossover into the Brothers Apart AUs they wrote that won this year’s contest! And some great fanart, too.

Commissions are still open (and always needed with everything that’s going on here), so if anyone wants to commission a continuation for that, I’m more than willing to continue!
