He has not had the chance! It would be fun, for sure. If you wave a feather the right way, it can catch a ton of air, and the other way it’ll cut right through the air (I used to collect very large hawk feathers).

The image of him writing with an old fashioned inkwell makes me imagine he’s back in London with the Sherlock Holmes in Arthur Conan Doyle’s books XD Sherlock hype, I guess. In reality, it would be a big mess. Ink can stain everything.

Unfortunately, I won’t have the time to do this. But the stories will always remain up! I don’t intend on ever taking any of them down, so you’re free to go back and read them anytime. I tend to spend my limited free time coming up with new stories, editing current stories or obsessively reorganizing ALL MY STUFF because OMG OCD is the worst thing ever and it is so exhausting. (Ignore that, just felt like yelling it out for once because it makes me feel better)

Plus, some of the first encounters, like in Family Ties, tend to be several chapters long, so it would be a very confusing work.

Oh, Sam! Don’t go in there!

I think he would be so surprised to see such big creatures afraid of him, all four inches of him in their cage. And those other littles will have to keep him away from any clowns because my god XD Giant clowns are not something for a wee Sammy. Dean is going to have a field day with this one if he remembers.

That would be so much food, for sure. So many people knocking over popcorn and spilling their drinks and candy, it’s like a field day for the smols and their mice, because of course they’ll have a group of mice living with them. It’s probably nice and warm to snuggle with the mice when it comes time to go to bed. Sam will love that.

The best thing to do if Sam gets a cold is to keep him warm and within reach, in case he takes a turn for the worse. Dean will keep him drinking plenty of liquids, and order some chicken noodle soup. Medicine they’ll only ever attempt if they’re desperate, since they aren’t sure how it’ll react with his system.

The hardest part with Dean is convincing him to relax and take it easy long enough to get better, and Sam is the master at talking Dean into things. Some puppy eyes, or pretending he’s sick as well if it comes down to it. There’s no way Dean can go on hunting if Sam’s sick, so clearly he has to get Sam some chicken noodle soup, and he can’t just leave it since it would all go to waste, so he’ll just take some soup for himself and then fall asleep on the bed watching Dr. Sexy, MD, and Sam will smile proudly at himself for working his magic yet again.

@rudebees Hi! Glad to see you interested in our story! 😀

The story itself is not yet complete, and after that we’ll be working on editing it. For any new stories written, we actually run a poll when a story is about to wrap up on @brothersapart, helping us randomize what posts next so there’s no favoritism shown towards any of the separate storylines we have going.

Currently story excerpts are posting once a day for the story under #tsotf, and any information or announcements for the Sherlock/Supernatural crossover can be found under #brothers consulted

Once it starts posting, it will be found under my and @borrowedtimeandspace‘s Archive of Our Own accounts, under the series name Brothers Consulted.

Since most of the stories posted here are Supernatural stand alones, if you want me to send you a message when BC starts posting, send me a pm on my main account, @nightmares06, and I’ll mark you down for it. I’m just as excited as you are!

Sam is a decently bulky guy in Supernatural, but Jacob is actually bigger!

Though in Brothers Adopted, he’s still currently shorter than Sam (he will eventually top out over four inches in height, the equivalent of 6′5″), he worked out a lot in school and did boxing before he was cursed. This, combined with the physique inherited from his dad results in him being bulkier than both Sam and Dean.

And Sam is currently only 22, so he’s a lot slimmer than he gets in later seasons of Supernatural, as well.
