So, I assume Gabriel (as the trickster) has the same timeline awareness as Celeste and, in that case, he’s equally likely to show up in the other timelines with knowledge of what might go down?

For these AUs (this isn’t at all an ability in canon Supernatural), all archangels share the same awareness of other timelines, some stronger than others.

Gabriel is one of the ones that has a sharp awareness of other timelines, because he likes to dabble in alternate realities on the side (The Lounge in BA, Changing Channels and Mystery Spot on Supernatural).

He will show up in other, future stories. He better just watch out if anyone recognizes the bartender in the Lounge!

Not an ask, but a funny thought of mine. As I was rereading Jacob in Wonderland, I had the sudden image of Jacob, in a later story, meeting the trickster again and the trickster making the song “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane play in the background just to irk him. 😂 I’m pretty sure that the trickster would definitely stick with the Alice in Wonderland theme, if only to annoy.

The trickster lives to annoy, especially these guys.

If Jacob runs into the trickster again in the future, he’s not going to be happy.

Now that Jacob is his right size again, will we see him discussing the things he went through with either of the brothers? I mean, he’s probably going to be processing everything for a while after all that happened and being big again doesn’t make it go away.

Jacob will definitely be processing things for some time after all that. You are absolutely right, so much fear and pain doesn’t just go away overnight. In fact, that was the trickster’s goal all along – a lesson can’t stick if it’s forgotten right away!

The issue is that Jacob tries really really hard to remain chill all the time. You can even see it in a few instances in Jacob in Wonderland, where he hides his worries in order to keep up that demeanor. It’s important to him that he’s the collected one, and he definitely wouldn’t want to be the one to make everyone else worry about him. They already did enough of that during those events, and they went through their own traumas.

No, it’s best (in his mind) to work through it on his own, and maybe talk about it after he’s done some of his own healing.

What would Bowman think of sunburns? Jacob getting a sunburn or just even telling him that such a thing exists? I bet he never would have thought that the sunlight could ever harm anyone, he’d be in shock. Lol:3

Ha! Bowman would be a bit skeptical, though he can’t outright deny it. It’s not like humans thrive off the sunlight the same way he does! Sure, it brings life and warmth to everything, but it can also dry out a plant if it beats down on it too much.

If Jacob actually got a sunburn and Bowman found out about it, he’d never let him live it down. You can walk to the shade, Jacob. This is a choice you made. Why.

Did Jacob get agoraphobia (fear of being in wide open spaces) after the series of unfortunate events he had in wonderland?

Well, at the very least, Jacob did not come out of those adventures unscathed. In the story itself, we saw how many physical injuries he tallied up by the end, all from the simple fact of being too small for the world (and the occasional nudge from our favorite trickster).

For now, everything looking back to normal has a warped perspective for Jacob. He spent enough time with everything so big that now it all looks weird and small to him. Once that shock wears off, he could very well show signs of agoraphobia. He’ll be checking the corners a lot more diligently after this.

In the Jacob In Wonderland story, when Jacob and Sam were stuck in the doll/toy shop, Jacob saw his friend Bobby Loran and thought to try to communicate with him but at the end he thought against it. If I remember correctly, you wrote in the notes at the end of that chapter that it’s a good thing Bobby didn’t see Jacob was real. So, what would have happened to Jake if Bobby would have noticed him??

It’s not that Bobby is necessarily the worst option out there. He has a very bad track record with little guys so far in every story I’ve written him in (beginning with his original canon appearance in Bowman of Wellwood). The guy thinks that being bigger = being in charge. Combine that with seeing his normally 6′5″ friend at such a small size, and there would be a lot of teasing. He’d most likely be a bit too harsh for such a little guy before he stopped to listen.

Sam, being the independent and confident little guy that he is, would probably annoy Bobby a bit (Why isn’t he acting at least a little intimidated???). They’d need Jacob there to keep him focused.

Out of curiosity, I calculated how the spacing between the finger ridges look at different scales. At x1 scale they are about 0.3-0.4 mm apart, so to a smol (x19) it would look like 5.7-7.6 mm. For teddy Jacob, Dean’s (x50.66667) would look 15.2-20.3 mm apart, while Sam’s (x2.66667) would be 0.8-1.07 mm. As for giant Jacob, his ridges would look 108-144 mm apart to smol Sam (x360) and 288-384 mm to teddy Jacob (x960)! They both could fit their whole hand inside one of those valleys, easy!!!

Hot damn, so big!

That lil guy better keep his distance from the most giant giant! This is a handy reference.

Remember in taken from brothers apart that dean took the borrowers from that motel? What if they had to stop on the way (plot reasons) and found knights inn, took him and everyone else to trails west?

The BA bros would be amaze to meet Oscar! He’s done so much, surviving on his own that long!

They would certainly offer, since they’re helping so many others relocate at the time. Oscar wouldn’t have to live on his own, and he’d have more of a support system than he does at his current place, where the others live so far apart.

Plus, Sam always can drop in on their friend and make sure he’s doing okay in his new home.

Quick question: What would happen if Jacob met Oscar and somehow convinced him to come home with him?

The cutest and dorkiest interactions ever would happen is what. You have the biggest teddy and the tiniest mouse, trying to figure each other out. Honestly, once Jacob figures out how scary he is to such a little guy, he’s completely flop. He’d work so hard to try to get some trust, even just have Oscar talk to him for a while.

From there, he’s got a task of getting Oscar to actually leave the only place he’s ever known. I’m not sure if he would be able to do it in just one visit, but the best selling point he has is the cooking back home. All that warm, hearty food that Jacob’s mom makes would do wonders for little Oscar’s health!

There is actually the beginnings of an AU like this in the works already, with the first story posted over on my writing blog: here
