There actually will be a prank wars, it just hasn’t posted yet. It’s coming up in story 11, along with all the angst we could ask for!
It was hard to get the storyline far enough along for Sam to become casual enough to try and prank his giant brother, especially after having his arm broken and going through all that stress back in Taken, but we’ve reached that point 🙂
If you’ve got ideas for pranks, go for it! It’s always fun to read what everyone comes up with.
Oh geeze. I gotta get my idea-journal out to even attempt to answer this.
Let’s see… for stories we’ve written (keep in mind these might not be edited yet), we’ve got 27 completed, including short stories and what’s already posted. For ideas and possibilities, which is an ever-growing list that expands every time we get a new idea from everyone, we’re currently at 28 future plans. And some of those stories/plans grew all the way from one little prompt, like Brothers Asunder!
( I’m pretty sure 4 of the 27 are posted… Lich, Salt Lines, Chasing Family, Road Not Taken, I don’t think I missed any, lol. Which means we’ve got 23 left to post, and we’re slowly working our way through editing them )
Remember to always send in any ideas you get! (Unless you want to write them yourselves 😉 ) There’s no telling what we’ll come up with next to add to our growing tower of stories-to-write.
In the BA-verse, it’s very unlikely he’ll ever run into Jess. They had completely different paths in life this time. He’ll never get to know what he missed.
He’s never run into any, but I think he’d like them! They’re a lot like little mice with wings, and we all know how big of a fan Sam is of the mice he finds.
Aww. Poor Arthur.
I’m sure in Brothers Together, Dean and Arthur won’t hit it off right away. If Dean gets properly scolded, he’ll refrain from grabbing any of the smaller people around. Sam can’t lose his chance at getting to know any people his size!
Rumsfeld is such a troublemaker. Always giving Dean a heart attack.
I honestly have the same problem a lot of times. Instead of picking up a book or reading that fic I’m behind on online, I’ll go through our files and find a story we wrote to reread. It’s the most addicting. And some of our future stories, like the horror story, are full novel sized.

They would be pretty shocked!
They’ve both been father figures for Sam in a life where he can’t predict where he’ll end up next, and he’s grateful to both of them. If he could bring Walt somewhere safer, he’d love for them to meet. He knows how Walt feels about hunters, which is the only reason he hasn’t brought this idea up.
However, Walt and the rest of the family are warming up to Dean, so who knows what the future holds…
We don’t honestly have an overarching name for all the ‘verses, but we’re always open to ideas!
For the moment, we refer to the collective of stories as BAU. Initially, it only stood for Brothers Apart Alternate Universe, but we’ve widened it to include Brothers Apart as well. Both of our other blogs include BAU tags to label anything that relates to these stories, like inspiring gifs.

Most likely! The story isn’t far enough along for him yet, but I’ve got a few ideas that might show up for Cas and some other Supernatural characters.

Logan Guthrie is none other than the main antagonist of Fairy Tales: Bowman of Wellwood! For anyone that’s read that story, they know him as a game hunter who’s irrational when it comes to sprites… and definitely isn’t prepared to discover anyone Sam’s size.
Now… it’s time to find out exactly what would happen if we put him up against none other than Dean Winchester in a fight for the Wellwood forest.
