Well, I mean–

Barely an hour had passed before Sherlock’s mobile rang, making Sherlock freeze in place and John’s head snap up to lock eyes with him. The detective whipped out the phone and checked the caller ID.

“It’s Mycroft,” he confirmed.

John’s brow arched. “That was fast–”

“Dean! ” Sherlock called, cutting off John’s comment as he took long strides toward the kitchen.

Lestrade was more than a little frustrated, having drilled every single guard who’d had shifts since the day before, and all of them swore up and down that nothing had happened. None had let anyone into the crime scene for any reason since last Lestrade had been there. Storming back up the stairs, Lestrade swore that if Sherlock didn’t have a good reason for this…

Well, he didn’t know what he was gonna do, but he was sure it would come to him.

All feelings of exasperation were out the window as soon as Lestrade stormed in to find Sherlock flat on the floor near an air vent in the wall, giving him an almost feral look. He quirked an eyebrow at the detective until his gaze wandered to the small figure in front of him.

Aww! XD Stan and Dean are at the very least, the brotp of the AU.

While in BC canon, Stan is certainly head over heels for Nathan, there’s no denying Dean’s natural charm. He would respect their size differences, and of course Dean’s own preference for women (In BAverse canon, he remains straight).

If Dean found himself at the same height as Stan, and Stan was unattached, Dean might have a fiery redhead crushing on him for a bit XD Stan falling a bit for that natural charm before they manage to untangle it.

We did make a few ship names for them XD You’re not the only one that loves those two dorks. (St)an and D(ean) for Stean, and (Win)chester and Ba(ker) for Winker. Which do you guys like? Any other ideas?

Stan is definitely a huge sweetheart! Dean had no idea what he was doing when he immediately started chatting up Stan the first time they encountered each other, with Sherlock only able to watch as his smol charmed the new tol.

He’s a cutie and we can’t stop coming up with ideas for him! ~~Protect him~~

Seriously though, this was a really sweet message to get. Hugs all around!

When Stan started out, he was never meant to be much of a well-rounded character. But as he and Dean bounced off each other, he just…became. Then later on I added in details for Sherlock to notice from him, and I discovered so much about him. Including the fact that he happened to be engaged to a man, and owned a German Shepherd. Honestly, he wasn’t exactly predetermined to be any kind of role model or example of representation, but I can’t agree more that representation is needed.

Being gay certainly isn’t the basis of Stan’s character, but it’s not going to be ignored either.

I’m glad anything we do makes anyone feel better about themselves. You go, boo. Hope you enjoy what he have planned for my fiery bean and the Brothers Consulted crew!

Agent Stan Baker is a character that will be introduced in the second official story of Brothers Consulted, and he’s taken off on us!
