Oh, I wish I had the time. Sadly, most of my time is actually consumed by either writing Brothers Apart or by work. The prompts get done when I’m frozen on my story, and I wouldn’t be able to make a complete storyline for Dean Rescues Sam between all of that.

In fact, the only reason I’ve been able to put together a complete story for Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines is because of my cowriter. Without @neonthewrite it never would have come this far. Writing together helps keep the creative ideas flowing… and of course, the prompts we get for the story! So give her some thanks for being such a huge help! 🙂

In case you were wondering what Oscar looks like as a child, wonder no more. This photo is what the little guy would look like if he were properly fed. Let’s hope the Weechesters can get him looking more like this while they’re visiting the Knight’s Inn in Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines. Oscar must have more to eat! Get this kid some pie!

While he’s too young to hunt, he’d stay at the room on his own if they knew it was safe. It isn’t long before they decide that’s not the best plan, and he starts to stick with Dean on hunts. The two brothers work together as an effortless team even with the size discrepancy.

Even after John vanishes into thin air and leaves them to fend for themselves, the world isn’t so bad as long as they stick together. After all, Dean needs someone to haul his ass out of trouble.

If you’re ever wondering what’s going on with commissions, not all of them are posted to here as I order them! In fact, you’ll only see them added on tumblr when that part of the story is reached. For a completely out-of-context idea of what’s going on in ideas, head on over to here to see what’s going on. New commissions added as they get finished. Not all of them, of course. There are a few artists that are commissioned outside of deviantart, but the majority of them go through that site.

Brothers Together has been more of a prompt-driven storyline than my Brothers Apart series from the start. I can definitely see there being more than one part. It could be during any time period. Children, adults, anything is open. It just depends on what sparks an idea, just like this story! So send in any ideas you can come up with for it.

Sadly, Oscar doesn’t know much about his dad. The man was gone when he was just a very young (and extra small!) child. Asking his mom where he went didn’t get any straight answers, so he stopped asking. As for his mom, she ended up taking care of Oscar on her own after that, since the other borrowers in the motel are all on the other side of the building. Like Mallory of Brothers Apart, she learned to make thinner threads by fraying human-made fabric to make more comfortable clothes for her and Oscar. She also taught him how to climb a rope, and a few of the other skills someone their size needs to know in order to survive in such a tall world!

You’ll be able to find out more about Oscar’s family and home in the motel in future chapters of Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines.

In case you were wondering what little Oscar looks like, wonder no more! The amazing Heartstores has drawn him. This is how Oscar looks as an adult. As you might be able to tell, he’s still not a very tall borrower at all! Living in the motel means sparse findings sometimes, and his lack of a consistently good diet has left him malnourished and stunted his growth. Hopefully Sam and Dean can help kid!Oz out with that in Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines!

That was Krissy. Sadly for her and the Watch family, it will be some time before the boys would even be able to consider returning to the motel they were attacked in. There’s too much of a chance that the witch is lurking in the area, though her trail has dried up, and so John will keep both of his children far, far away. He can’t risk losing both of them.

A month has passed since Sam was cursed, and there’s no cure in sight. He and Dean are left on their own during one of John’s hunts to go to school and do their best to get by. After all this time, Sam’s no more used to being small than he was before, and when Dean catches an unexpected visitor he gets the chance to learn all about his new size.
