May 28th excerpt:

“I wouldn’t call it short,” Dean said easily. “I’d say you’re just size-deficient.” He planted the tip of his index finger on Jacob’s chest and gently pushed him back towards the tape measure. He wasn’t about to take no for an answer. Based on the way Jacob was fighting against it, there wouldn’t be many chances to get his sizes for future clothing when Dean managed to find a store that sold more than just cheap barbie clothes. Maybe he’d get lucky and find a store geared just towards dolls. It might be more expensive but it would be worth it.

At the sight of Jacob’s exasperated struggles, Dean let out a small sigh and took slight pity on him. “Okay, how about this. I don’t even have to tell you how tall you are.”

TorchMLP: I’ve got a question for Neon
TorchMLP: So sprites don’t really have access to thread like other borrowers, so what do they use to make their clothes?
Neon: Depends on the sprites! Sticking to the Wellwood sprites, they actually have a cottonwood tree and it provides plenty of fiber for them to twist into threads.
TorchMLP: Oh cool! What do they use for dye?
Neon: Whatever they can find xD since green is a common available hue a lot of their clothes are some shade of green. They can use flowers and stuff like that for color too, though
Neon: Bowman’s scarf is yellow, for example. Most probably from dandelion dye

Sam and Dean, after finding themselves lost and alone in England, will get adopted into a small family. Mother, father, very young daughter (Moira is only 6 years old when they find the brothers). The two lost boys have only the clothes on their backs, and they’re surprisingly attached to the design (one of the last connections they have to their father). With the barter system in England, and most of the women around can sew, getting new clothing was simple.

Once they discovered Dean’s knack, it became easy to find things to trade for clothing, and after the brothers killed off a rat, they traded the meat to a tanner to make them both a hefty pair of boots, Dean’s leather jacket (gotta have), and their bags.

Can’t have Dean without his duffel bag, right?

Sam would be most likely to return to Trails West and coax clothing out of his old friend Krissy. She’s a bit less intimidating to talk to compared to an entire group of new people his size, and in a new situation he’ll always face the possibility of flat-out rejection because of his older brother. Krissy learned from Mallory on how to make clothes much like what he’s wearing now, so they’ll be more comfortable for him compared to anything other communities can make

He’s not particularly skilled at weaving his own, unlike Oscar.
