Commissioned from @tinypancakes!

We were joking around about how Sam and Dean are always getting annoyed that Jacob has a habit of just walking off on them and he’s so hard to keep up with, and it ended up with a running joke that the Winchesters are like the lil ducklings following mama Jake around. He just can’t shake them.

For everyone trying to guess #bah, remember what the story’s about! And it’s a direct quote from Dean Winchester in the show.

(( wonderful artwork commissioned from @lotminx! Check them out, they have a lot of great artwork! ))

“Hello?” came the voice again, softer, but closer to Sam’s hiding spot.

Sam tried to silence his footsteps, slowly distancing himself from where the voice was coming from. Maybe the human would think he’d imagined it…

His train of thought was cut off when something massive slammed into him from behind. The human must have reached around the nightstand while he was lost in his thoughts! Not to mention that he’d heard the human on the other side seconds before… Smart, very smart… that way I wouldn’t see him coming.

His satchel and the items inside dug into his back, compressed into him by fingers as long as his entire body was tall as they clenched shut around him, and far more powerful than he could ever hope to be. A wave of helplessness and fear hit Sam the moment he felt the sheer power in the fingers closed around him… this was far worse than his last close call. He had only been spotted that time, by a kid no one believed, thankfully.

Sam gasped in pain as the pressure increased, writhing to try and free his arms before the human could see what he’d caught. The wrist he’d injured falling was twisted even further in the overpowering grasp, shoved harshly against his ribs. He’d already failed one of the first and most important lessons his adopted father had taught him growing up: Never let a human get their hands on you. Once they did, it was almost impossible to escape, simply because of the sheer size difference. And this human was huge, making Sam’s chances of escape plummet even further. If only he could get his knife out, he might at least have a fighting chance to escape… Sam wriggled desperately.

And then it was too late.

The grip solidified around him and he was yanked backwards, out from behind the nightstand and into open air. Blinking as the bright, unfiltered light of the room hit him, Sam realized his eyes had yet to adjust to the new light. A huge voice echoed around him, deeper than he thought possible.

“Son of a bitch… what the hell are you?”

Still struggling to free either of his arms, Sam finally brought his eyes into focus in the light. A set of huge green eyes was bare inches away, sharp, dangerous eyes that could almost see right through him.

Sam tried to jerk away with a shocked gasp at how close he was, but the powerful fist kept him effortlessly in place. The human was crouched on the floor, one hand resting on the ground clutching the handgun, the other hand propped up on an elbow, wrapped mercilessly around Sam.

Sam was only suspended a few inches in the air at most. The floor wasn’t far beneath his trapped feet. At least he’d survive if he managed to get out of the grip of the fingers from this height. He still held out some hope of escape. His entire line of sight was taken up by the human… the man was so big it was unreal, like staring up at a living wall.

Since being cursed, Sam had never been this close to a human to fully appreciate how much height he’d lost and exactly how small he really was in comparison. Complete avoidance was the best way to survive in this world when you’re so small. His heart dropped at the knowledge that his life was out of his own hands… and literally in the hands of an unknown human.

Sam took in the shock on the human’s face briefly. Not many humans had ever seen people as small as Sam, and it didn’t seem like this guy was any exception. Truthfully, Sam’s face probably had the same shock painted all over it. He’d never gotten caught like this… completely helpless and with no way out, no hope of escape. The biggest problem he’d run into before today was being spotted from afar. He’d gotten out of that room long before the kid was able to convince anyone of what he’d seen and had stayed away from that room until long after they were gone, just to be safe. This time, he’d been overconfident, assured of his escape if anyone came into the room.

For a long moment, Sam and the human stared at each other in silence, faces unconsciously echoing the same expression of disbelief.

Read the series here!

You two are one letter off from the title, so you win a sneak peek for all! This story is titled Wayward Sons, and sometimes wayward sons have to return home to the family they left behind.

XD This is one of those titles that makes everyone facepalm and go “Of course!” if they’ve watched the show.

“Of course I know where we are!” Dean interrupted. “It hasn’t been that long since we were around…”

Up ahead, what looked like twelve feet away but must only be seven inches, there was an end to the path. Part of the wall shifted, then moved aside under the control of someone inside. A block was substituted for a door.

Dean, who was paying more attention to Sam behind him than the path in front in order to keep bickering, pulled to a halt when he heard someone clear their throat. Sam almost ran right into his brother, caught off guard by the suddenness of the gesture.

Blue eyes like steel stared out at them.

“Boys,” Walt Watch greeted, his arms crossed and his face stern.

While everyone was staring at each other in the shock that came from a long time spent apart, a small ball of energy pushed right past Walt. Mallory, her long blonde hair a mess and bouncing in loose curls behind her back, flew out from the small home. “Dean?! Sam!”

Walt didn’t have a chance to catch her before she barreled right into Dean with a sob, pulling the much taller man into a hug. There was no resisting her, and she did the same with Sam, small tears peeking out the corner of her eyes. “Oh, thank God,” she breathed as she pulled out of Sam’s arms to get a good look at both of them. “We thought you were dead or worse.”

“Never bett–”

Dean’s declaration was cut off with a loud slap that sounded like it could be heard from one end of the motel to the other. Shocked, Dean stumbled back, tenderly holding his cheek.

Mallory’s tears were overflowing. “How could you leave us like that?” she demanded tearfully.

A commission for @neonthebright of her character Oscar and my characters Charlie and Sawyer. This takes place in an AU where they both adopt Oscar and give him all the love and food he deserves! (It’s probably the cutest AU ever.) Oscar’s never been outside before, so he’s having a fun time trying out all the new things to do!

Side note, if you’re interested in commissioning me, I’m going to be releasing a new commission sheet later this week, so keep your eyes open!

Art belongs to me, commissioned for @neonthebright who has rights to use it as she pleases.

Update Part 1

borrowedtimeandspace:

So it’s been a while since I’ve done much of anything on this blog ^^; School had consumed pretty much my entire existence so I’ve been behind on prompts and shirking the Zepheera-Visions, and I’ve also gotten myself deeply involved with the @brothersapart universe.

But that’s not all I’ve been up to.

Introducing Borrowed Magic, my first co-written AU in the BTaS universe!

@neonthewrite has lent me her Bowman to join in the shenanigans of my borrower OC Zepheera and the Tenth Doctor in my crossover series Borrowed Time and Space. Fittingly enough, we’ve named this AU Borrowed Magic.

I’ve poked at ideas for AUs of BTaS before, mostly to allow for interactions with more of the Tenth Doctor’s companions, but this one has the potential for so much fun. Not only is Bowman a spitfire of a sassball, but it’s interesting to throw yet another non-human companion into the mix! His life in Wellwood has in no way prepared him for travel in time and space, and it doesn’t help that he’s the youngest and the smallest on board (due to the slight scale difference, Zepheera ends up a whole half-inch taller than the sprite, much to his annoyance).

This is a young AU, but Neon and I do have plans in store for these dorks. I’ll start posting excerpts semi-regularly, and we’ll take any questions involving the AU!

For now, here’s a sneak peek at our first completed story!

“Zepheera, answer me!”

Who is Zepheera?

The insistent call deepened the concerned frown on Bowman’s face. He watched the tall man with hardly-blinking eyes for a moment before registering that there could be another human out there. That made his wings fan open and closed as he scanned the forest for another giant nearby.

He was thinking he might have to fly a short distance to find another giant crashing around in the woods. Keeping track of all intruders was imperative for the safety of the village. Bowman turned, aiming to look behind himself first.

He did a double take at the sight of someone on the branch with him.

“Spirit’s dance!” he yelped, flinching backwards. He stumbled off the end of the branch, but his wings caught him easily, flaring open and pulling him back up to hover level with one of the strangest people he’d ever seen. They had skin that looked a bit pale compared to his own, but not as pale as the tall human a distance away. Most important was the lack of any sort of wings on their back, despite otherwise being sprite-sized.

“What … who are you?!”

Look out for Part 2 of this update, coming soon

Bowman’s taking a dip in the Doctor Who universe! Go check it out ❤
