My first thought was Sam doing something by accident that annoys dean and out of spite he starts a prank war (most likely dying Sams hair pink or the like)

Ah, man, if the prank wars start up again with Dean the smol, it’s all over. Jacob is in the middle of an all-out war, brother against brother!

(No superglue pls)

Dean won’t trust Sam so easily but he also won’t know immediately that this is his Sam.

( Wasn’t totally sure which AU this was for, but either way!! )

Dean’s always had his problems with being suspicious. I think if Sam does it right, he’ll be able to worm his way right through any chink in Dean’s armor, and in the BA stories, Dean has plenty of chinks. Poor scarred bby, separated from his little brother so long ago.

The big thing for me in the new AU is seeing Sam and Dean reconnect. I want to see how they cope with finding each other and being reunited. For me, the best moment will be when they realize who the other one is. Jacob being the first little Sam finds is a fun twist since it somewhat prepares him for meeting Dean. I know that answer is cliche but it’s my favorite part of each AU you’ve had thus far :)

Aww, yes. First encounters are a favorite in all G/t stories! The different ways the interactions can go, how they all react to each other, whether there’s trust from the start or suspicion threading through the encounter…

Plus, with Dean on the small side, we all know that the first meeting never goes the way the tol is going to expect.

I imagine that Dean’s probably upset about not being able to hunt monsters, so a hunt that Sam can’t solve cause he’s too tol might be a good starter.

Dean will be so stuffy about the fact that Sam’s a full-fledged hunter but he’s never even gotten the chance!

The amount of sass Sam will get if there’s a hunt where Dean happens to be the more useful size than Sam. So much. Sam’s going to get called all the nicknames. Every nickname. Damn Sasquatch. Why’d he have to go and get so tall?!?! At least Dean’s the only one that can navigate so easily in the vents between them. Sam would practically have to worm his ways into the vents, and that’s if they’re even big enough to fit him at all.

October 30th excerpt:

Stan kept a steady hand on Juno to make sure she didn’t get too close to Dean. He could plainly see how nervous the little guy was, and he glanced between Dean and Nate, still trying to figure out what his fiance was trying to tell him. Nate gave a small nod toward the borrower in his hand, indicating that Stan should pay attention, so that’s where Stan’s focus went.

“Easy, girl,” Stan soothed. Juno was a little sluggish from her meal, but he couldn’t risk her getting overexcited around someone so small. The German Shepherd was curious and resisted his grip, lurching forward just enough so that her nose grazed Dean’s tiny hand before Nathan could draw back out of her reach.
