XD Aww, it’s an adorable idea but not quite up my alley! Plus, I wouldn’t want to steal the title of ‘mouse whisperer’ from Oscar. Sam’s skilled with mice, but Oscar’s best friend was Rita the mouse as a kid and she helped him survive when his mother vanished. ;o; She brought him food and let him hug her when he was really sad, and since then he’s made sure to imprint on all the new litters of baby mice. Mice only live a couple years, and Oscar has seen many generations go by while he’s the honorary mousie himself.

June 26th excerpt:

The dodge wasn’t enough. The giant’s hands eclipsed their escape route, massive fingers brushing Dean’s side even as he fired what he could into the wall of skin rushing at him. Those fingers curled inexorably around him, and for the first time in his life, Dean felt small.

He lost sight of Sam in that grasp, but knew that it had to look the same. Unless Sam had by some miracle escaped, they were about to be captured by a giant. “No!” Dean cried out, trying to twist away from the thick, creviced skin closing in around him.

A massive thumb, bigger and more powerful than Dean could ever be, brushed down in front of him and in seconds his arms were forced to lower.

June 25th excerpt:

“Holy shit.”

Sam ignored the almost strangled curses that came from behind him, intent on following the fresh path the giant had left behind. One hand on his bag to keep it from striking repeatedly against his side, he almost leapt over a broken branch, running as fast as they could.

It just didn’t seem possible.

One step from the giant cleared more ground than either brother could run. There was just no way for them to keep up. If it didn’t leave such a broad path to follow, they wouldn’t have a chance of finding it again so fast.

“Friggin’ shit.

He would be so endearing with them!

Once he got over the shock of his new size, and managed to get past his innate fear of hurting them because they’re so small next to him omg, he would be a lot calmer than Dean, never reaching without warning and Kara would be climbing him constantly.

Krissy would be an interesting one to see with Sam, as she has a phobia of humans and hasn’t built up the courage to see Dean face-to-face yet. She knows Sam, so she might be able to overcome this fear with his help.

Walt is wondering why his life is so crazy.

June 24th excerpt:

“Can’t get a friggin’ bar on this thing,” Dean growled in annoyance as he held his phone up over his head.

Sam’s grin was luckily out of sight from Dean’s angle, as he was still leading. “You saw the bulletin just like I did. There’s no cell service out here.”

Dean stuffed the phone in his back pocket. “We should get one of those satellite phones like that kid had. At least then we could stay in touch with Bobby.”

June 23rd excerpt:

“Don’t worry,” Sam smiled as they took their leave. “We can handle ourselves.”

The brothers were silent as they left the suburb behind, both digesting the implications of hunting an honest to god giant.

“We’re going to need bigger guns,” Sam commented as they pulled into the local motel to regroup for the night.

Sam would be so tall he actually gets to see slightly above how tall he’d be as a regular guy! If Dean’s shifting around at all, he might end up clinging to that spike of hair Dean’s so proud of, and complaining.

And Dean would let him, because Sam’s earned this and deserves to be tall, dammit.

Fun fact – tiny Sam standing on regular Dean’s head would be just as tall as Jacob when he’s full grown.

The brothers – To keep it interesting, I’d say Sam ends up swapping into Jacob, and Dean into Sam! That makes Jacob the shortest of the group, and poor Sam, who has the least experience being full-sized, finds himself too tall! He might not even get as far as discovering how strong he is now considering how nervous he’d be around the two really tiny guys. While Dean’s just complaining about how long Sam’s hair is and it gets in his eyes and how can you deal with this Sam.

Jacob – Jacob would be super weirded out to see how big everything is. He’d also have to concede that, yes, he very much does seem to stomp around and cause earthquakes. He’d have to hope the Sam-swapped-Dean was able to get over the shock enough to look after him, because he doesn’t have the skills like the brothers do for surviving that smol!
