So I know that you posted a sneak peek a week or so ago where Dean was able to be Sam’s size for a little bit (I’m assuming from the BA AU). I was wondering if there was going to be another human around so he could get the full Little experience. (I was thinking Jacob or Bobby! Especially because Sam could show him around the walls and his room at Bobby’s.)

(I believe the sneak peek we’re talking about is this one, if anyone missed it)

The story involved is certainly a convoluted one, but fear not! There will be interactions with regular-sized people for our poor smol Dean! There’s just too much material for our poor hunters, so size shenanigans will be happening to them (in multiple AUs…)

Take a peek at this teeny bit from where Dean gets a glance at some of Sam’s normal world!

For a moment, the importance of Jacob opening his car didn’t occur to Dean. Then, he remembered what he had in his pocket and he gave Sam and Jacob a flat look, pulling out his keys.

“Really?” Dean asked as he jingled them. “You… broke… into… my car.”

Sam affected an innocent look. “It’s my car, too!” he said, his hands up in surrender. “I just… got Jacob in using the panic room. And you’re the one that taught me how to hotwire!”

“I didn’t mean hotwire the Impala!

August 6th excerpt:

Stan did pipe up with a comment after a few minutes, tilting his head when he noticed a word the borrowers in the movie kept saying. “ ‘Beans’…?” he wondered aloud. “Oh, human beings, they mean,” he nodded, scrunching his nose in displeasure and confusion. “No one’s called them ‘beans’ in ages.”

Dean smirked. “Well, that’s good,” he said lazily, nudging Stan in the side with a finger. “I think ‘bean’ fits you better than it fits us…” His finger moved up to mess Stan’s hair yet again before backing off.

August 4th excerpt:

“Is that what we look like to you?” Dean asked as he saw the perspective of the humans trying to get ice from the machine, very nearly knocking the kids out of the fridge door.

Stan gave a small jump as the question broke through the trance connecting him to the film. He spared the human a glance, still huge and looming even in his lowered position on the bed. His arms alone were thicker than Stan was tall, and that was just a fact of the enormity of humans.

August 2nd excerpt:

The tines of the fork nudged at Sam’s arm, who barely even looked up at the threatening cutlery that could scoop him up into the air. “What, Dean?” he asked tiredly, a put-on air about him as he studiously focused on the shreds of hot dog and bread he had pushed into a facsimile of a hot dog on a bun.

“You gonna eat that?” Dean asked, jabbing his fork at the remainder of Sam’s portion of the meal.

August 1st excerpt:

With hands shaking from anger and exhaustion both, Logan found the edge of the pocket flap keeping him trapped. He even allowed himself to be smug as he pushed it up at last to survey his options.

And promptly froze as Dean leaned forward slightly and poked his fork at Sam, who was sitting on the plate just below.

July 31st excerpt:

Dean hummed to himself as he dumped the scalding hot water out over the sink and the hot dogs dropped into a strainer to cool. “Ketchup?” he called over his shoulder to Sam, getting a distracted nod in return.

Piling it all onto a plate, Dean snagged the bag of hot dog buns and brought it all over to the table, claiming the spot Bobby had eaten his own lunch in. It was easier since the spot was cleared of the regular clutter. The ketchup was fetched from the fridge, and a fork, which ended up used to cut one of the hot dogs to manageable pieces for Sam to gather from. Dean nudged that one to the very edge and plucked some of the softer parts of his bun off for Sam to try, then poured practically a red lake’s worth of ketchup for Sam to use.

“Grub’s up,” he announced, piecing his own together with the buns provided and grabbing mustard and onions as well to stack on top.
