July 13th excerpt:

When he was ready, Jacob reached hesitantly for the car. Suddenly it looked so small, and it contained the only two people in the world who trusted him at the moment. He felt like some kind of movie monster, reaching for them in their car like that.

Finally, his hands reached the shining black car, settling in next to each bumper. Working slowly, Jacob slid his fingertips underneath the front and rear of the car to lift it up, while trying not to rock it back and forth too much. He concentrated, and eventually the Impala lifted away from the ground with both of his giant hands cradled underneath.

Jacob’s eyes were wide as he stared down at the roof of the car. He paused, and then stood slowly, as carefully as he could. He could only imagine Sam and Dean’s faces right now.

First off.

A. He’d have a heart attack.

B. He’d have a panic attack.

C. OMG Sam what the hell is happening. What. Is. Happening.

He’d only be able to be in the car briefly if it was a slow shrink, cars really aren’t made for people relatively over 7, 8, 9… 20… feet. Sam wouldn’t mind learning to drive, though it’s hard for Dean to show him what to do, and Dean would fret the entire time. Though Sam already has a decent grasp of the perspective after seeing how Dean looks at the same scale.

Not sure if he’d appear in the crossover, but there’s nothing stopping him from popping up at some point in Brothers Lost. Tiny Dean and Bowman would make quite a pair, and I can’t imagine the snark would ever end. Dean can’t pocket Bowman to solve his problems anymore. Now, he’s pocketable as well, so they better behave themselves or Sam will be encouraging Jacob to pocket them while he stays the lookout.

Dean meeting a small version of himself will always have his hands full XD But I can’t help but think how cute they’d be working on the Impala together. Big Dean has a little version of himself that knows all the car stuff he knows and is able to fit into all the tiny corners of the car, and little Dean has a big version of himself to boss around if he needs to move something heavy and they’d probably be on the same wavelength the entire time because c’mon. It’s their baby. She must be treated right.

May 16th excerpt:

Jacob got into the huge, shining black 1967 Impala parked at the curb, settling onto the bench seat with a sigh. The key was in the ignition before he glanced down at his pocket with a grin. “Back on the road again,” he announced, before turning the key with a roar of the engine.

The flap of the pocket shifted, and Sam was the first one out. Normally, the brothers would already be on Jacob’s shoulder, or hiding in a hoodie to keep out of sight from Mariana. There was no way to know her reaction to finding out that tiny people were real, and with Mike being a cop, the brothers chose to avoid any situations that might result in discovery. He seemed like a nice enough man, but if the police discovered littles, people everywhere could be put in danger.

“Shotgun!” Sam shouted, off like a shot. Dean was left behind in the dust, and Sam used the thick threads of Jacob’s shirt to climb his way over to the right shoulder.

Dean hauled himself up, nowhere near as fast. “Dammit,” he huffed. “That’s my spot.”

April 18th excerpt:

Before anyone else could react, Dean’s hand swiped through the air. He might be drugged, exhausted and seeing double half the time, but he was still a hunter. Not to mention a big brother who’d only just rediscovered his little brother and found out he had an adopted family. Bowman ended up snatched up in a loose fist, brought close to the glazed green eyes to inspect him for any injuries.

“What about you?” Dean asked worriedly as he squinted at the tiny sprite he was holding only two inches from his face. One of his fingers carefully nudged at Bowman’s arm to make sure it was moving okay. “Did anyone bother you while we were gone? Did anyone bother my baby?”

April 15th excerpt:

There was no mistaking this car for some camping trip family car, despite its size. It was gleaming in the dark even before Jacob’s flashlight beam swept over it, black-and-chrome finish reflecting the moon and stars from above. Jacob let out an appreciative breath at the sight of the huge car. It wasn’t more than a foot or two longer than his own, but somehow it conveyed a lot more size and ferocity regardless. It looked like it could practically rear up and fight as much as Dean did.

Bowman had his own appreciation for the car, but his eyes were wide for entirely different reasons. He also looked behind them at the other vehicles, the arrangement of tents, everything about the human campsite that he could see. “This is what a car looks like?” he muttered, barely refraining from swooping off Dean’s shoulder to circle the big, shiny black beast. “And you’re sure it’s safe?”

With Dean’s particular skill set, that’s never been an issue. If he ever locks himself out, he can break back in without a problem. He’s a master at picking locks and stealing cars, and now he’s got a four inch brother who can even get into the walls and practically vanish if he needs it. (You can definitely lock yourself out of a motel but the front desk can usually get you in without a problem )

They will get in, I guarantee it.
