We made it Sam, Dean and Oscar’s first snow day after Sam’s curse!

Oscar found himself with two eager hands around his arm, tugging him out of bed and out of sleepiness. With his free hand, he rubbed his eyes to wake up a little faster.

“Sam?” he slurred. “It isn’t Sat … Saturday again yet, right?” he asked, a yawn cutting his question off in the middle.

“Nope!” Sam said excitedly as bounced to his feet. “It’s even better! ”

While Oscar was waking up, Sam excitedly moved around the room, unable to contain himself. His grey cloth bag from Oscar was slung over his shoulders, and it bumped against his side while he moved. A steady stream of words passed his lips with no way of knowing how much actually sank into Oscar’s mind in his sleepy haze.

“You’ll have to get something to cover up your hands, and maybe some extra shirts,” Sam prattled happily on, “I even have the extra dollhouse shirts that Dean got me on so I keep warm. And nice and warm feet, can’t let them get cold or we’ll have to come in early. I mean, how many times do we get a snow day this early on in the year?!” His eyes shone with his excitement.

Asks and submissions are open as always for all AU’s!

Considering their run of luck, it’s a definite possibility. Dean takes every precaution around the room when they’re alone, including salt lines around the room and sleeping with his colt under his pillow. Sam doesn’t go far from Dean at night, sleeping on the pillow next to where his brother is.

And most nights, Dean hugs the pillow he’s on.

If anything happens, they’ll have to deal with it as best they can.

In case you were wondering what Oscar looks like as a child, wonder no more. This photo is what the little guy would look like if he were properly fed. Let’s hope the Weechesters can get him looking more like this while they’re visiting the Knight’s Inn in Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines. Oscar must have more to eat! Get this kid some pie!

You all wanted more of the kid!Sam, and you won’t be waiting much longer! The story of Sam meeting others like him is on its way, and no one has guessed who he’ll be seeing. Tune in on Monday, November 16th and the first chapter of the adorable kiddos fic will be posted on the various sites! ( Deviantart, Fanfiction, Archive of our Own ) It will update from then on every Monday after. Below is a sneak peek from that first chapter:

Is it a mouse?

Dean didn’t want to risk having any unknown animals darting around the room. He slipped quietly off the bed, creeping over towards the wall. He ignored a curious question shot his way from Sam, who was finally taking note of his older brother’s odd behavior.

“Gimme a sec,” Dean muttered over his shoulder.

He saw the movement again, and lunged forward. Two hands slammed around the small animal, trapping it between them. The show was completely forgotten as Dean stood back up, eyes wide as he stared down at his hands.

Did I see what I thought I saw?

“What is it, Dean?” Sam asked, taking a few hesitant steps forward on the uneven surface of the bed.

Just as curious as Sam, Dean cracked open his hands so he could peek inside at what he’d caught. He sucked in a gasp of surprise and slammed them shut, staring back at Sam in dismay.

It was a kid even smaller than Sammy.

Who did Dean just catch? Find out on Monday!

This story will take place a little over a month after Sam is initially cursed, and two weeks after Sam first hitches himself a ride in Dean’s pocket to school. So, they are starting to get used to him being tiny, but there’s a lot he’s not prepared for. He’ll need a teacher.

John got the hell out of there. He didn’t actually know that Sam was cursed and with them until probably about a half hour into the drive. He thought that the witch had taken his youngest and was gunning for his eldest. His first thought was getting Dean the hell out of that motel and out of her reach.

Dean managed to pull himself together enough to reveal what he had cupped between his hands. Poor Sam was downsized to two and a half inches. They ended up on the side of the road when John was too shocked to keep driving.

With Sam unconscious and no way for them to wake him, they drove to Bobby’s. Dean refused to leave Sam’s side. While John and Bobby were desperately searching for a cure or a curse reversal, he was there with his brother in his hands, watching over him.

When Sam woke up a week later, he and Dean were in their own room at Bobby’s, but his bed was now too big. So Dean kept him on his chest to sleep, where he could make sure Sam was safe the entire time.
