September 2nd excerpt:

“What are your plans?” Sam asked dubiously as he eyed up the slight bulge against Dean’s chest.

Dean shrugged. “I’ll figure something out. For now, he’s out of Bobby’s way, out of Rumsfeld’s way, and we’ve got the night to ourselves. Want to grab a movie?”

Sam considered. “What about Logan? I’m not sitting with you if he’s going to be bitching up a storm.”

“I’ll find a place to stash him for the night.”

I have a feeling that Dean will re use the mushroom that Jacob bit, in for science, and somehow slip it into Logan to make him smaller in the upcoming stories

@chewbaccaaah asked:

Honestly, if Logan is hunting the sprites, I don’t feel like Dean would have any remorse about using the mushroom to make him small. Make him the prey.

Dean won’t be able to touch the mushroom in For Science, since the story for the mushroom happens in the Found universe, and he’s left in the Apart universe.

So Good News, he isn’t shrunk by the Trickster’s tricks.

Bad News, he wasn’t shrunk by the Trickster’s tricks.

Dean in Brothers Found is certainly likely to hang onto that mushroom and turn it into a little lesson on perspective for certain people… He’s not the type to feel any sympathy for people like that.

August 1st excerpt:

With hands shaking from anger and exhaustion both, Logan found the edge of the pocket flap keeping him trapped. He even allowed himself to be smug as he pushed it up at last to survey his options.

And promptly froze as Dean leaned forward slightly and poked his fork at Sam, who was sitting on the plate just below.

July 29th excerpt:

All but forgotten in Dean’s pocket, Logan waited for someone to notice the irony in the room. While he was trapped and barely allowed a shard of a pretzel, Sam was free to roam. He would even get to have some of the warm food with the others, despite being bug-sized. He should be in as much danger as Logan, but he wasn’t.

Wondering what made Sam so special wouldn’t get him free, so Logan pushed the thoughts aside. He kicked at Dean once more before turning to try opening the pocket again.

July 27th excerpt:

“Is that so?” Dean didn’t even have to think as he lifted his hand with Logan inside, dropping the hunter in his chest pocket and buttoning it up. “I can’t say no to that.”

Logan landed in a heap at the bottom of the pocket. At first, he had no idea where he’d landed. Everything around him was thick cloth and dim lighting, and he struggled to right himself. There was no surface below for leverage, and when he braced a hand on one side, he flinched back.

A heartbeat thudded away practically right next to him, and Logan understood where he was.

July 26th excerpt:

Footsteps came from the hall, and Dean covered Logan with a hand, curling his fingers around the other man as Bobby came back in. Sam was no longer wearing his tan jacket, perched on Bobby’s shoulder with nothing more than his grey t-shirt, jeans and satchel.

“Got the blood out,” Bobby said gruffly. “That’ll just be drying until the morning.”

“Bobby said he’s got some food we can heat up!” Sam called out from his place.

June 15th excerpt:

“Can’t have my favorite morsel starving himself to death,” Dean mused to himself, reaching one long arm behind him to a tin Bobby had on the counter top. Inside was an assortment of chips, crackers and pretzels, all good snacks to eat when too busy to sit down and really enjoy a meal. Mostly used for straight-up energy by Bobby or any visitors than any flavor the snacks might offer.

Pulling out a pretzel, Dean flicked it at Logan. “Eat up,” he commanded.

May 12th excerpt:

Bobby looked away from Dean and Logan, turning a blind eye to whatever they did. “Want some help getting that blood out?” he offered Sam, sizing up the splotch and the dark spot around it from Rumsfeld’s saliva.

Sam glanced at it. “Sure. I’m kind of running low on jackets, anyway. We don’t exactly have a supply of them…”

“I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve,” Bobby assured the kid as he held out his hand.
