The knight of Knights Inn is ready to fite!
Assuming he has someone he knows around to sort of buffer the whole experience, he’d be enchanted! Everything is so bright and vibrant and open out there, and the air moves so much more than in the stuffy walls of the motel. It wouldn’t even smell the same, with all the scents of flowers, trees, mud, and the like.
He doesn’t see many live plants at all normally. Chances are Oscar would be amazed even by a leaf or a blade of grass, gently feeling the texture or watching them move in the breeze. It’d be a charming experience for him, for sure.
Right? This nestling is far too thin and small for his age. That’s a problem. Who is in charge of the food around here, because this kid needs an extra serving.
Oscar would not argue about that at all.
Dean has this… bad habit in Brothers Divided… where he tries to ‘adopt’ smols that don’t want to be adopted…
Jacob might end up with a pocketmate.
One who’s especially squeaky and timid, and honestly? Jacob would kind of understand why Dean got the urge to protect the little guy. Oscar has a very Adopt Me kind of aura and very few people are immune to it. Dean doesn’t stand any more chance of resisting than Oscar does of avoiding the pocket.
(Story 4 of the Brothers Adopted series)
Near a forgettable motel in Breckenridge, Colorado, people are dying. Crushed beneath furniture and falling cars, the stories form a clear circle around the Knights Inn. Now Dean and his two tiny brothers, Sam and Jacob, are on their way to unravel the case and help all the motels’ residents– down to the very smallest.

Lucky number 13, another installment of the Sad Oscar AU. Oscar did manage to survive his last misadventure, but what next?
( x )
Oscar gripped the bars to either side with all the strength his hands could offer. His knuckles were even paler than his usual and his arms shook from the weight of even his small body. They weren’t used to doing so much work to hold him up, even with the parallel rails made just for him.
He didn’t have many options. It was that, or crawl everywhere for the rest of his life.
Not that he had many places to go. Since Charlotte’s last mistake, Oscar was off-limits. Something to do with “wasted investments” kept him safe from her careless handling. He couldn’t help but think about what he’d heard after his latest injury. If this one dies …
The glass front of his doll cage remained sealed unless they were giving him food or cleaning out his washroom. He had become an ornament more than a pet.
As a lance of pain raced outward from the middle of his back, Oscar told himself it wasn’t the worst. He could have been like the last occupant of the cage.
If this one dies …
His arms wobbled and he sank to the floor between his parallel bars. His legs didn’t respond at all. When he looked up, he swallowed a sob of lonely frustration.
He had so far to go to reach the other side.
(Story 3 of the Brothers Together series)
Oscar lost the only friends he’d ever found over a decade ago. He’s learned to survive on his own, brief reminders of Sam and Dean keeping him company along with the mice who share the walls with him.
Yet Sam and Dean, though they may have forgotten where he lives, out of the hundreds of motels they’ve been to, never forgot their Oz.

(Story 2 of the Brothers Together series)
A month has passed since Sam was cursed, and there’s no cure in sight. He and Dean are left on their own during one of John’s hunts to go to school and do their best to get by. After all this time, Sam’s no more used to being small than he was before, and when Dean catches an unexpected visitor he gets the chance to learn all about his new size.

Oh my goodness. Oscar would fuss about getting all those dust bunnies stuck to him, but he could fight through it. Dean needs buttons on his shirts, his clothes need to hold up for as long as he can manage. Oscar could brandish a small comb against the dust, if Dean could find him a small enough one to carry.
