April 7th excerpt:

With Sam and Jacob stowed away in one pocket, and Bowman kicking pointedly at him in the other, Dean climbed out of the Impala. No one would be able to tell from his casual swagger that not only did he have three miniature passengers hidden on his person, he also carried a small arsenal.

April 6th excerpt:

The way Sam reclined in the pocket put him close to Jacob’s eye level. He was so casual about it, accustomed to all the motions and sensations that came with being in someone’s pocket. After a year back with Dean, Sam had acquired a certain expertise traveling in pockets or on a shoulder. Not to mention the number of times he’d wound up saving Jacob or Dean’s asses in a hunt one way or another. He’d really just blown past his size. If that wasn’t encouraging, Jacob wasn’t sure what would be.

April 4th excerpt:

The fingers curled up around them as Dean put his entire hand in the pocket this time, knuckles brushing against the fabric bottom. Sam pushed a finger out of his way and Dean stretched them out, making it easy to slip down and drop to the bottom of the dark surroundings.

Once he was down, he stood and offered Jacob a hand getting down. Before Jacob could reach him, the hand started to lift away out of the pocket, Dean assuming that they were both clear of his hand. Sam didn’t need any more proof of the fact that Dean couldn’t feel Jacob on his hand at all, a concerning thought for them all.

“Dean, wait! " Sam shouted. He leapt forward, snagging a fingertip before it could raise up out of his reach.

March 14th excerpt:

Sam remained curled against his neck, a sharp eye on their surroundings. He continued to be amazed at the world passing by so speedily. After years of being trapped in one place, he might never stop being awed at how much freedom he had with Dean. All he had to do was speak up and Dean would change the direction of the Impala.

Bowman looked like he was finally adjusting to riding in a car. His wings shifted a bit in the movement as Dean turned the car into the Gas ‘n’ Sip parking lot, the sunlight sending patterns across his wings in bright ripples through the glass window.

“Alright guys, pocket time,” Dean said quietly. He parked in a corner of the lot, away from any other cars so that no one would see the sprite flitting around inside. “Everyone needs to be hidden.”

March 11th excerpt:

Bowman waited on the porch, unknowingly mirroring Sam as he leaned over to watch Jacob scoot himself carefully to the pocket. He couldn’t see his friend’s expression clearly, though he could vaguely tell he was concentrating on the task at hand. That was probably good; jumping recklessly from that high, even into a cloth pocket, could really injure the tiny hunter.

Bowman suppressed a shiver. It was beyond weird to think of Jacob as tiny. They needed to get him better as soon as possible, because this was all too strange.

November 15th excerpt:

Before Dean had a chance to stride forward and close the distance to the nightstand, the flap on his chest pocket moved, and then Sam poked his head out. If they didn’t know he was there, he would be mistaken for an errant fold in the fabric. Even spotting his head and shoulders peeking over the edge did nothing to ruin that impression.

Sam waved at the others as Dean turned in place and walked over. Neither brother seemed to find it particularly odd to both be doing something completely different, but Walt knew that was just who they were. They worked together seamlessly as a team, no matter how disparate their sizes were.

Better together than apart.

September 6th excerpt:

Ignoring the bustle around him from the onset of the early dinner rush, Dean gently pressed a hand over his pocket to reassure the tiny kid within. There wasn’t much else he could do without taking the risk of Oscar being spotted, so he had to settle.

Deal left his hand there for a beat longer after he felt the tiniest little hands push against him. Before dropping his hand away, he nudged where he thought Oscar’s side was, teasing his friend to remind him he was safely out of sight.

July 5th excerpt:

“Whoa,” Sam said, his eyes wide as he pushed against the fabric to one side. “Are we…?”

Dean glanced behind himself, spotting one of the entrances to the pocket. It was large enough to be a cavern of its own, and he knew how small it would look compared to Jacob. Sam and Dean, two dangerous hunters who were trained to kill monsters without hesitating, were simply a fold in the fabric against Jacob’s stomach.

June 4th excerpt:

“Okay,” Jacob spoke softly, already adopting a mindset towards being as quiet as he could. “What should the plan be once they point out the right trailer?” he asked, glancing in the mirror to meet Sam’s gaze before looking down at his pocket. He brushed his fingertips just barely over the small form slumped within. “Got a plan?”

Lulled to a half-sleep inside the pocket interior, Dean gave a slight jolt when huge fingers brushed against his side. The voice rumbled overhead, reminding him where he was just then. Not at home, safely hidden away in the walls. Their friend was lost and in trouble, and they needed to find him.

With wobbly knees, Dean stood with one hand against each side of the pocket to stay standing. The thick threads made it easy to hang on and hold himself up, and he shoved the pocket flap out of his way to see where they were.
