February 20th excerpt:

An unfamiliar voice rumbled through the air and froze Sam’s blood solid.

“I think I saw someone over by the desk.”

Sam scrunched his eyes closed, wishing he had anywhere else to go. He was too far away from the wall entrance, he couldn’t scale up any of the gargantuan furniture that soared above his head.

February 18th excerpt:

Dean scooped up the wires and pins into his arms and started to pack them away into his duffel. “No, I think you’re good. This is more than I asked for. I might have to start hiding the pins from Sam soon, he might throw them at me if he has to sit around much longer.”

Jacob snickered at the image of Sam tossing around pins the size of small daggers to him. They would be like slightly bulky throwing knives. “Maybe,” Jacob agreed, raising an eyebrow appraisingly at the pins as Dean stashed them away.

February 13th excerpt:

“What the hell do you think we are?” Dean growled up at the human towering over them. This guy certainly had looming down. The Winchesters were both tense and prepared, ready to act the second they saw an opening. Sam didn’t need a hook or thread to climb down from most surfaces, though shimmying down was much more dangerous. Desperate times.

“Do I look like fucking Tinkerbell?”

Well, nothing is impossible. I can promise you that this isn’t the last we see of the field littles and Walt, and of course it’s not the last we’ve seen of Bobby!

Though for Sam, Walt was disappointed that he showed no aptitude for tanning at all. On the other hand, wee little Sean is doing great at it.

We’re thrilled everyone is excited for the story! *bounces* A lot of hard, hard work has gone into it (and is still going into it as we edit it).

February 12th excerpt:

Dean shoved Sam in the opposite direction. “Now!” he shouted.

Sam would know what to do.

In unison, the two brothers tossed themselves forward with their knives. Almost at the same time, twin silver blades cut into the hands, one on each side. They needed to get the hands out of their way. If they couldn’t manage that, they wouldn’t have a ghost of a chance at escaping.

February 11th excerpt:

Jacob grinned at a sudden thought. “Hey, maybe we’ll get you back in California sometime. Hollywood’s bound to see a few ghosts now and then, right?”

Dean sat down next to the sausage as Jacob talked, taking a whiff of his ouzo. The bittersweet fragrance gave him a shock of nostalgia, the tint of licorice in the air another smell he’d never expected to experience again.

“We could always get a tour on set in Hollywood,” Dean said, going along with Jacob. “I mean, I’m sure Sammy’s always wanted to meet a star from the Gilmore Girls.
