July 12th excerpt:
“I didn’t think you were gonna wake up so soon!” Sam said, now that someone else was up and he was allowed to talk. Only emergencies, otherwise, or their dad would get mad at him. “Wasn’t sure if Dean would wake up first but he hasn’t budged an inch.”
(Story 2 of the Brothers Together series)
Cowritten by @nightmares06 and @neonthewrite
A month has passed since Sam was cursed, and there’s no cure in sight. He and Dean are left on their own during one of John’s hunts to go to school and do their best to get by. After all this time, Sam’s no more used to being small than he was before, and when Dean catches an unexpected visitor he gets the chance to learn all about his new size.

June 19th excerpt:
Placing his hand carefully against the table, Dean beckoned to Sam. “Gimme some of that sandwich,” he commanded.
Sam stuck his lip out but didn’t argue. “Kay,” he said, pinching off a corner.
Dean took it, flattening the bread between two fingers. “How ‘bout you get some rest and eat up?” he offered the kid, motioning with his head to the books he might be able to sit on. “Take it easy while we figure this out.”
May 1st excerpt:
Trying to get a reaction, Sam lightly nudged the kid in the side, hoping to coax him out of his ball. “C’mon, you can’t stay like that forever,” Sam insisted.
First time and you got it! The name is officially Any Port in a Storm, and these brothers certainly need a port to huddle in, considering the circumstances John finds them in!
When the snow started to come down, he knew they were really in trouble.
Dean glanced to the side, his gaze softening. Sam was slumped against his side, exhausted and weary. They had run for most of the day, leaving the younger kid drained and unable to keep up with his older brother for long. Dean had tried giving Sam a piggyback for a bit, but he tired as well within the hour.
We’ll just stop for a bit… get your energy back up and then we’ll find someplace safe and warm, okay?
There wasn’t much choice for them to stop. Sam couldn’t keep up, Dean couldn’t carry him, and he’d never leave his little brother behind. He’d found a bit of cover against a wall, staring at the deserted street beyond.
Occasionally, they’d pass by, and Dean could only hope that no one noticed the pair of tiny children seeking refuge.
Their escape, it seemed, came with a cost, and he didn’t know if they could last the night.

Chibi commission for @neonthebright!! I had some fun with the sparkles.
a little too much fun.
I figured since Jacob was supposed to be a younger teen here, his hair wouldn’t be as… Swoosh. If there’s anything you need changed/tweaked, let me know!

This one is a request to involve the Brothers Forgotten pair (from the 2017 contest) in the Lounge shenanigans! This is a strictly non canon adventure, short drabble sized. Enjoy!

This time, the door didn’t come into being in its regular spot.
The room shifted, barely noticed by the many different patrons of the ever-growing Lounge. And now, it was literally growing.
When the shift finished, there was another door, this one placed further from the bar than the others, and off a sheer cliff that the nearby Dean shied away from on his way for a refill.
The door opened, and in strolled the next patron.
Dean ground to a halt, his eyes going wide.
Not for over a decade had he seen a chair his size.
Sam was in his hand, much like the many other Sams of the bar. The main difference between this Sam and the others… he was human sized.
And Dean was a giant.
“You have got to be shitting me!” came one of the voices from the tiny bar placed at around Dean’s chest height.
One of the multiple Dean’s at the bar (the original, the one that came first to the room to meet his teenage self), was standing a few feet back from the edge, his hands on his hips and a supremely annoyed look on his face.
The new entrants to the bar snapped their heads to the side in time when another voice, a much fainter voice cut through the air. The source was a barely visible speck on one of the tables.
“See how you like it, asshat!”
Dean tentatively came forward, holding his hand level with the floor so Sam could step down. He could barely believe his eyes. There was a nearly microscopic version of himself standing there, and Sam spotted a small version of himself nearby.
The regular Dean scowled. “Watch it, shortstop!” he called threateningly to the smallest Dean there. “Or it’ll be time for a pool rematch!”
Over by the arcade, the teenager’s eyes were wide, holding Sam close. “Maybe we should sit this one out,” he said faintly, unable to tear his eyes away from a giant older counterpart. The regular sized one was a handful enough.
Sam patted his thumb. “But we gotta check them out!” he insisted. “I’m normal sized over there!”
And of course there was no way for Dean to say no to his little brother when he got that yearning in his eyes. He swallowed nervously before wandering away from their safe corner, keeping a distance from the edge.
The bartender waved the new pair on. “Drinks on the house boys! We’ve got all sizes here!”

flash commission for @nightmares06! He’s really excited. (I would be too)
Cheapo flash sketch commissions through Ko-fi are still available!
Oh my gosh, that’s great! Looks like I shouldn’t be tagging things after a long, exhausting day of work! (This is why I usually do my blog upkeep on weekends, but everyone’s so into the guessing game, I can’t leave ya’ll hanging…)
However it happened, you earned a sneak peek of A World of Secrets! Which Jacob and his family just stumbled into!
If Sam could inch away from the two giants the pocket concealed him from, he would. The stern tone of voice Jacob’s mom had taken on was very familiar, and Sam couldn’t stifle an involuntary yelp of surprise. He heard it from his dad almost constantly. Dean was the patient teacher, John was the stern drill sergeant.
They were mad.
Sam put a hand on the hilt of his knife, drawing strength from the gift Dean had given him. Please don’t hurt me.
Jacob heard Sam’s quiet noise, and thought back to moments ago when the other kid worried Jacob’s parents would be mad at him. He was scared of them. Telling mama and papa about him would be breaking a promise and would probably make him cry. Jacob didn’t want to do either of those things.
He also didn’t want to keep lying. He was supposed to listen to them when they told him to do something. Jacob’s toy trucks fell to the floor and he pressed his hands against the wall behind him while the conflict practically dug into him. What was he to do?
“I don’ … don’t wanna be mean,” he finally murmured lamely, hanging his head but still peeking at his mother and father. His mouth was angled in a frown and his eyes stung.
“Hey, Jake, kiddo,” his father said quietly, stepping around his wife with care that didn’t seem to fit his huge frame. He stooped and braced his hands on his knees, peering at him with a serious but kind look. “You’re not in trouble, okay? I don’t know what got you so worried, but we do need to know if you’re hiding something from us, especially if it’s alive. Okay?”
Jacob stuck out his lower lip in a pout while he let his father’s low rumble of a voice sink in. He knew they would come and check his pockets if he didn’t give in. He thought he might have a chance at avoiding some trouble if he complied, and after a second his hands moved hesitantly to his pocket where he knew Sam was curled up in fear.
Now my new friend is gonna hate me, he thought sadly as he reached into the pocket and scooped his fingers under the small form to lift him out.
