June 18th excerpt:

Sam could feel the ground shake under his boots and knew Jacob had him in his sights when the back of his neck burst into a tingle. He didn’t slow down, knowing if he hesitated it would be over. Compared to a human, he couldn’t cover enough ground to make a difference when it came down to it.

That was what Dean was waiting for.

Ha! ” yelled Dean triumphantly as he darted out into the open. He was hidden away on the side of the dresser that was closer to the middle of the two beds, and gave him a shorter distance to cover. With any luck, he could serve as a distraction before he managed to reach cover to get Jacob away from Sam.
