It’s a good guess, but currently BD and the Sad Oscar AU are not connected in any way ~~ the poor lil guy.
The brands themselves actually come from way back in BA’s development, when I was writing Taken. They never got used, since Sam was removed from that situation before it got so dire, but rest assured that this darker side of the world is in all the AUs, rarely seen because it’s not based in America.
Too bad, because Jacob and Oscar sure could use a rescue in that AU ;o;
