Can Sam’s Enhanced Awareness become more powerful to the point where it is more than just knowing when someone is looking at him?

Actually, all knacks will grow stronger as the borrower ages!

With Sam’s knack as an example, he starts out just knowing that someone is glancing in his direction. It’s a very vague sensation. 

As he grows up and the strength of his knack increases with exposure to humans, he starts to be able to differentiate between danger and safety. It’ll start to inform him the direction the danger comes from. Once it’s strong enough, he could pinpoint a sniper aiming a weapon his way and sense when the attack is coming.
